Please supervise your felines and give them time to adjust to their new homes without quick judgement. Some may take a week or more to get accustomed. Leaving littermate, the rescue founder, foster families, or other kitty friends would make anyone miss home. Slowly earning their trust and bringing out their usual friendly self if needed is very rewarding.

Please call (609) 448-7806 if you can't keep the cat or kitten you are adopting from us no matter how far long the adoption was. I will take back any feline at no charge. Adoption fees are considered donations for their care. They are not refundable.

DO NOT HOLD THIS NON PROFIT RESCUE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE IF THE FELINES DOES ANYTHING TO YOUR HOUSEHOLD. ITS IMPORTANT TO SUPERVISE AND TEACH YOUNG KITTENS GOOD BEHAVIOR. Last but not least please recommend our rescue so we can save more death!!!

Rescue founder, Christina Valentino

ADOPTING FROM CHRISSY'S KITTY RESQ/ CONTRACT

Adoption fees will be reduced if more than one is adopted to the same family determined on the care of each cat or kitten. This discount applies more to adult cats but if working with another rescue they may have their own rates. If you adopt out one the adoption fee is usually stated in the petnote. Prefer to adopt in homes seeking to adopt two or if you have another friendly cat in the home. I do adopt out cats by themselves also to the right home.

Most cats are neutered/spayed and all have been tested healthy negative againist Feline Leukemia/Fiv. All use the litter box like a pro with no issues. All had previous vet care such as de-worming(and in kittens the new owner is responsible to continue the series at the vet) and shots although some may need a new set when they do to their new homes. Everything else is usually taken care of already by the vet.

ADOPTION CONTRACT

Please note that we provide initial care done to our rescued cats and do not know all medical background at time of adoption. You agree to any other fees at your veterinary hospital after adoption. Completing vet care is finished by the adopter. We save many cats and it is hard to check out every single cat that we save from high kill shelters.

*RETURNING THE CATS* If you can not keep the cats you selected from this rescue that the rescue will take them back at no additional charge(no matter how long adoption took place)but that all fees are considered donations and not refundable. You will have to drop off the pets, but Chrissys kitty resq will take them back. We prefer our cats not to be declawed and placed into alternative homes if placement does not work out without our consent. Our felines were saved and wish not to put them into harms way so if the adoption does not work out contact us first thankyou. We will take back any cats

We do not adopt out as gifts, so please keep in mind a pet isn't something you toss out when you get bored, you commit to his/her care and the joy of becoming a pet parent for years to come.

You must be at least 18 to adopt from us. Parents are required to come to meet the selected pets your younger children(under 18) are interested in. A note from parents for those)18+ still living with them are required. We have no problem adopting to families but parents are the primary one for their future vet care and other needs. Teaching your kids responsiblity with a pet is important.

None of our felines are allowed outdoors, indoor only pets and if you wish for them to be outdoor provide enclosed but safe shelter and we will need to view that prior to placement. If you are looking for outdoor only cats/kittens do not adopt from us. We care about the safety of our felines and wish not to expose them to outdoor dangers.
