you mean there is more than one trailer in md used for something other than hauling a circle track car?

Dave,I have a trailer you can borrow. It's been a lonely season for it with the racer broken.

Zee--Pep Boys has a cheap tow bar--$100--you can borrow mine if you figure out the logistics--I've towed many cars long distance--used the "Volvo Form Heck" to take my son's Duster to him in NC--even towed a Lincoln Continental with it--140's roll easy--you'll hardly know it's there. In the case of this BMW I bought--as a parts car--the drunk who wrecked it must have gotten airborne--rear suspension is all pushed back--couldn't possibly tow on a dolly. I HATE U-HAUL-- have used them over the years because for some types of trailering they are the only source--gotten screwed every time in one way or another. My thanks to FA 06 for his generous offer but Daniel has made arrangements with Sergey. See y'all at Summit Point.

Using tags from another vehicle = jail time, from what I hear. A tag service told me it's actually better to run with no tag at all than to fake it.

Dave, if it will help. You can pick up a dual axle flat bed trailer in Md.

I've been just using tags from my other car to pick up a new car. Maybe I've been just lucky to have never been stopped. I can also suggest a great idea: make the seller drive ir to you.

Dave, you can borrow mine, as long as you pick it up next week (I'll need it this weekend - I'm going to try out the car at autocross, it finally seems to run). The weight-distributing hitch included. I think you have my phone number. The trailer is parked near I-78, exit 41.

I feel your pain, as I just bought a '69 Volvo 144s down in West Chester, PA. I don't want to register and get it inspected right away, so, I'm trying to figure a way to drive it home to Easton,PA without tags.....(Pa doesn't issue 10-day tags, as some states do)

Trailering had crossed my mind.....
