yea i think that is an ausum theory! i never thought of it like that!! i agree with you guys! thoutghi think it's a little far-fetched to saya that snape is still not he good side x0

I have a theory about why Dumbledore trusts Snape so implicitly. It is mentioned that Dumbledore is good at legilimency and occlumency. I think that when Snape came back to the good side and was asked to turn spy on Voldemort, he had Dumbledore teach him Occlumency to hide his true intentions from Voldemort and it was during these lessons that Dumbledore was able to read Snape's mind and see that he was sincere. Therefore Snape is truly good!!!

i think your right but i think that snape didnt want to kill dumbledore so when harry called him a coward for doing what i belive dumbledore asked him too, he went mad because snape was disgusted at what he had to do and he was not disgusted by dumbledore.

I think that Snape is in love with Lily and when he told is master about the prophecy , since he didn't know about the parents he felt responsible for Lily's death . Also when Harry called him a coward at the end of Book six (HHP) he was suddenly inhuman and demented because that's exactly what happened to him. He cowardly failed in saving Lily , the mudblood who was there for him before . But then when he looked at Harry's eyes in the end he controlled himself because he saw Lily.

I feel as if Snapes life was destroyed by Voldemort. Lily died and i belive he loved her. And I agree with u Ginny4eva. Snape is so cruel to harry because he loved one of harry's parents(Lily) and hated the other(James). And he couldn't stand seeing the result.

I now think that you are right. Snape liked Lilly even if he called her a Mud-Blood. I think he was embarrased by James and so lashed out at her.

I think Snape was in love with Lilly Potter, deeply regretted that she was killed and that's why Dumbldore knew he could trust Snape. Snape was truly sorry that because of his actions the woman he loved was killed and will do anything to see Voldemort fall.

I think Snape is deep undercover and is still with the good guys. All of you with the HPB
[Scholastic hardcover] books from page 601 to 605 if you pay special attention to the details Snape makes sure that Harry isnt really harmed. Harry keeps hexing and jinxing Snape but all Snape does is fend him off. And when another Death Eater does an unforgivable spell (the one that causes horrible pain) Snape stops the Death Eaters and tells them that Harry's death belongs to Voldimort. But my theory is IF Snape really wanted Voldimort to kill Harry, Snape could have knocked him out and kidnapped him at any time. Also there is a line where he actually is kind of trying to help Harry in telling him on page 603 that Harry cant defeat him until he learns to "keep [his] mouth shut and [his] mind closed".
My theory is that Dombeldore knew that he would have to die in order for Snape to keep his cover and help Harry from the inside. If you look on page 560 Dumbledore says that Harry's blood is worth more than his. Again on page 570 Dombeldore says his life is less valuable than Harry's. I think when Dombeldore was in the tower in front of the Death Eaters, Dombeldore could have kicked but at anytime (he is a great wizard even in a weak state). I think when he was pleading with Snape, he was telling Snape to kill him. Also I think Snape really did regret that he got Harry's parents killed. I think the reason Snape is so cruel to Harry is because he cant stand seeing the result of his mistake year after year in his positions class. PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE. ALSO I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR THEORY.
