My son and his girlfriend swindled my husband and I out of a sum of money over £10,000. As we are pensioners it has left us struggling. We are really struggling paying our bills etc. Can anyone suggest something that we can do to attract our money back to us. We don't wish any harm to them but just want the money back to give us the cushion that has been taken away. I hope this is ok to ask if not I apologise.

[Infoburst: J.G. is correct in advising Jennyin to contact me directly on denise.wadsworth@sorcerers-apprentice.co.uk for there are many traditional methods of reversing this situation but we don't have space here to go into all the options, nor should this kind of problem be aired on an open forum. However there is one point you made which needs clarifying and could be useful to others and that is the difficulty that newcomers to magic have in overcoming the misconception indoctrinated into them that any magic which forces another person to do something against their will is evil and will cause karmic backflow.

Marabas corrects this in his OEXP066 which should be read by every newcomer. In the physical plane if someone steps on your toes you have the option of wincing and bearing the pain stoically or pushing them off. Using magic to correct a situation is the spiritual equivalent of pushing them off and as OEXP066 explains - will actually help both them and you so don't be anxious that you will somehow be punished for doing the sensible thing. Sorry New Kid i will try to be clearer next time and read your post more carefuly. My Bad. I was suggesting a bannishig if you felt under attack the days following the experience, which as Dennise points out is total NAN (but is also effective). Paranioa is a controll thing (an inabilty to let go) and in the NAN comunity superstition runs high, so any part of the Universe that "seems" threatening is imidiatly bannished. This isnt Magick its NAN and i apologise for waffling shite.

Hi. Yes it is the SA version that I have been doing but I am a little confused as to why would I want to do a banishing ritual? Would that not be defeating the object or is that a silly question?

[Infoburst: I think Rice'n Peas was thinking that if the experience became too intense a banishing rite would centre you again. Actually the Rosy Cross rite is a centralising esoteric exercise so just re-performing it would achieve the same purpose. Your experience is not uncommon and there are other more indicative symptoms other than the ones you have listed, for instance giddiness at the base of the skull. All these are signs of the beginnings of the release of the Astral Body which is the precursor to all magic so should be celebrated as a good thing and an indication that you will make a good magician in the long run and would be best experimenting further, perhaps with Godform Invocation
see Marabas's OEXP101 Working with Godforms here Keep in mind that the Astral Body will be centred as part of the 'license to depart' at the end of any good rite but will automatically and naturally centre itself over a short period of time anyway (if you have problems just take a nap and you will wake up centred) so do not become paranoid with the usual NAN about permanently dislocated Astral Bodies and all that rubbish. What you have is the beginnings of a great gift.

Hi New Kid. I take it you have been practicing from the Ross Cross OEXP, which has been adapted and can be found in Regardie's Golden Dawn. The Rose Cross ritual opens up your phsycic perception hence the trance state that you are feeling. It can be a great prelude to further phsycic experiment but if it is too intense a banishing/ring not pass will help.
Good Luck

Rose cross ritual

Hi all, I am still a beginner with magic and have had some strange experiences during the simple rose cross ritual. As I am performing the ritual I feel a bit spaced out and seem to be aware of things although I have no control over them. My voice seems to deepen and vibrate in a chesty/throaty kind of a way and I pronounce the words slower. I am aware of this happening although it seems as if I am watching it from outside of my being. If I think about this during the ritual it sort of snaps me out of it and I come back to reality. This has happened a few times now and I try to go with it and not think about it. Is this normal and caused by a change in consciousness? It has never happened like this during any spells that I have worked. I thought I had imagined it the first time it happened.

Hi Chris. Sorry it took so long, Im in the middle of moving house. Its best not to think about the hows and whys of spells manifesting. Just be ready to grab the opertunities. Trying not to think about something is a real test in itself, when the mind decides its important it can be a real fight to stop the thoughts.

The Opening Gateways course i recomended taught me to controll my awarness and focus it in to the here/now, a valuable tool to stop the whats and hows of the mind.
Good Luck

Hi all. I have been told that I need to lay my tarot cards out with the pictures facing upwards in view of a full moon when they become 'sticky' so that the vibrations of the moon can cleanse them. Has anyone heard of this or tried it and does it make a difference? I have been told that the stickiness is due to picking up psychic dross and peoples emotions when using them and keeping them wrapped in black silk doesn't prevent this.

[Infoburst: Someone has been confusing you. Moonlight doesn't cleanse but it will sensitise you and is superb for increasing the psychic abilities of the magician or witch. To cleanse any hard-surface equipment (i.e. altar top, candlesticks, athames, swords, etc) of psychic vibrations you

you should use a cap-full of Chinese Wash in a pint of ordinary tap water and wash the items down with it. Marabas teaches that the traditional way to cleanse fabric or paper, vellum, parchment etc is to pass them through the fumes from

Purification Incense B554N. Your advisor is perfectly right in that the cards will take-up the vibrations of each person you read for and this of course is absolutely necessary which is why all querents should be asked to shuffle the tarot before a reading is done for them. However, strictly speaking to get the best results you should also be fuming the cards after every consultation to psychically cleanse them from the previous reading. Wrapping an item in black silk will stop them from attracting unwanted psychic vibrations. If the item has already been charged ritually then the silk will also keep that charge and stop it from dissipating (ideal for amulets, talismans and altar equipment). BB Denise W.

Hi again Ricenpeas, thought I would ask you another question if you don't mind. Have you any tips on how to stay positive about your magic after casting a spell? There are things going on that make it very difficult to do. I would welcome advice from anyone else reading this too. Thanks in advance!

I find painting the symbols helps alot, i realy indulge myself in the colours. (trick i learnt from
Marabas's elemental gateway symbol cards). Then I just remeber what i have painted. The same technique can be used to create Angels ect using the book Angelic Images-Construction of Godforms and Astral Imagaes. The book goes with the Complete Golden Dawn but can also be used freestyle to suit.
