Table Tipping and Misreading The Messages
|

Hi all, Denise here,
I have modified this thread but left most of it in to illustrate how easy it is for genuine people to give offence when intentions are misunderstood. Originally Rex thought AnnB was talking nonsense because he apparently had not ever tried Table Tipping. Anyone who has knows that the table can actually 'dance' about and often appears to be 'going for' someone in the circle. AnneB's statement that she was 'chased' by a table made sense to Table Tippers but not to Rex even though he is by his own account accomplished in many occult methods. In turn AnneB who has clearly spent her lifetime trying to spread love and harmony was heartstruck at Rex's criticisms and angered enough to nearly (but not quite) threaten him magically! So the wheel turns and we all learn a little extra about ourselves and others in the process. Good init? As Marabas always says 'The true meaning of anything always resides in its opposite' :-) BB. Rex Many thank you for your apology and for apologising to riceanpeas which was more important to me.
Your heart is probably a lot softer than you like people to know
Take care of yourself and your cat
Perhaps you would write on the cat site to boost it up

Ricenpeas,
It was a cheap shot in hindsight. I'm a sad old git.
Couldn't resist the chance for a laugh.
Thanks for your reply. You're a lovely guy.
Ann, I do apologise for being ungentlemanly and sad.
From one cat-lover to another, Sorry,if I was harsh
and rude. And sorry for the 'fibber' word I used. I
do regret using that. Not nice of me.
I hope you'll forgive me, if not understand my point
of view.

Have just read your other message 30 years in Occult.
Table Tipping you are still evoking the thought that it was untrue
It was frightening I can assure you but when its written down it dis sound funny
Newcomers I hope will wish to try this and perhaps the lighter things are told will help
I take my magic very seriously or I wouldnt be a trusted buyer from the SA and am a good friend of many in the Occult
One who I may go to visit in her retreat
Many of the highest psychics in this country
So stop this silliness now
I think Denise will be happier

Well it is good to be able to laugh at the event after. I can quite see the funny side of it myself. Seeing as I am severely disabled and unable to move sometime its nice to be chased by anything
Rex I did not threaten you with a curse curses always come back so I woldnt never even curse someone I know. All I said was I am able to see what you look like its a curse in its way but helps me in my work.
Just enjoy learning your art and concentrating on that and perhaps your cruelty and rudeness towards women will disappear Let that be an end to it. I have no heart for a fight my karma is calm and thats the way it will stay

GENUINE

Thats was clearer Rex, thanks. There was much in Annes post that you could have respectfuly challenged and turned into something interesting. Weather she saw the table "chase" her or move in her direction maybe a matter of taste and dismissing the possability with humor (though i did giggle) was a bit cheap. For myself staying a Novice up until my last experience should eleviate the feeling of being GENUINE about anything.

Ann,
You may be very genuine, I may be wrong. I did poke fun.
I apologise. But please don't use veiled threats of curses
or whatever. My whole point was I thought the implication
of being chased was bad for the image of genuine occultists.

To Rice n'Peas, Ann, all,
Please let me clarify:
Yes I poked fun at Ann. A GENUINE ADEPT would not put such a comment about
being 'CHASED' on this forum which will be read by newcomers and also non-
occultists and therefore reinforce stereotypes and horror stories associated
with psychic experimentation. I have over 30 years experience in occultism and
have seen many strange phenomena including objects being moved by unseen
energies whether by spirits or by psychokinetic effect. Such things can and
will occur and anyone who spends years in mediumship and psychic experiments
will attest to that. However stories about being CHASED by a table are what
I would expect from an over-imaginative teenager. Call it intuition if you
will but I can tell truth from fiction. Spirit communication especially when
one is part of an established circle is not about such dramatics. I will not
post on this subject again. Readers can decide for themselves.
About the 'rat-arsed' thing, my humour. For the record I'm 99% teetotal.
No dutch courage required. Falklands veterans know about real and imagined
fears.
