Psychic phenomena, etc.

To Rice n'Peas, Ann, all,
Please let me clarify:
Yes I poked fun at Ann. A GENUINE ADEPT would not put such a comment about
being 'CHASED' on this forum which will be read by newcomers and also non-
occultists and therefore reinforce stereotypes and horror stories associated
with psychic experimentation. I have over 30 years experience in occultism and
have seen many strange phenomena including objects being moved by unseen
energies whether by spirits or by psychokinetic effect. Such things can and
will occur and anyone who spends years in mediumship and psychic experiments
will attest to that. However stories about being CHASED by a table are what
I would expect from an over-imaginative teenager. Call it intuition if you
will but I can tell truth from fiction. Spirit communication especially when
one is part of an established circle is not about such dramatics. I will not
post on this subject again. Readers can decide for themselves.
About the 'rat-arsed' thing, my humour. For the record I'm 99% teetotal.
No dutch courage required. Falklands veterans know about real and imagined
fears.

Rex...sounds like you need to clock up some temple time, get some of your own experiences and stop dissin others. Realities are observer based and
yours seems to be a bit limited.
OEXP015 Psycokenetic Effects will put a few hairs on your chest but Rex... you have to DO it, dont just read and prejudge it.
AnneB. Lovely post, you seem to really enjoy your Magick. Best Wishes and Birthday Blessings. RiceNpeas a wee Novice

Table Tipple ?

Ann,
I'm horrified to read your story. I bet you needed a stiff one (drink) after
being chased by that table ! Or were you totally rat-arsed beforehand ?
Really dear, you're just being a fibber and it makes you look a tad silly.
Take care and watch out for haunted furniture.
Rex.

Is this the right forum for this forgive an old lady (64 on Thrsday)if not but my late husband came through very strongly on this at a circle I attended the other week usually those touching the table dont get messages but believe me or no the table practically leapt off the floor I even turned my back on it and it chased me I have been chased by many things but never a table it was quite an experience Having practised witchcraft quietly from the age of 16 when I first used a ouiji board (not a good idea) a such a young age I know but it was so accurate it predicted a son in 64, married twice so far this has come right.Just to finish know its on the wrong forum site but I have always used my Renaissance for many years do you consider Denise that some cards are suited some you always find the ideal ones or they find you.ALso my Goddess cards I do every morning just for myself are always correct have tried others but these felt so good when I touched them for the first time.My son brought me some second hand ones but they had a very bad touch so have put them away.
Also I think it not wise to broadcast your knowledge to loudly on the site it can come back and bite you
AN IF IT HARM NO ONE DO WHAT YOU WILL

Occult Census

Hi Ann,
Nice to hear from you. I'm sure most on the forum can relate to your being
just a normal person, and I'm glad your path helps enrich your life.
The Occult Census by the SA ( http://www.sorcerers-apprentice.co.uk/census.htm ) is a fascinating look at the views and
practices of people of many occult paths from their voting preferences
to how much and what type of magic they do, etc, and also has a section
on pets owned by Witches, magicians, satanists, etc. It's quite a good
read for non-occultists as well, especially those put off by media
stereotypes and pretenders.
Best regards,
JK

hERE i GO AGAIN PRATTLING AGAIN. I am a normal housewife, who practises witchcraft it is not something evil or something to throw around as a game it is serious If people wish to exploit their"witchiness" it shows a lack of consideration to people who genuinely believe it is not a hands behind whispers it is something one should do. Most of my closest friends know of my religion and although they dont confer with choice they have enough love for me to leave me to my beliefs. Too much is made of the badness try looking at how it your attitude to life and people and nature can be improved by studying the right path.

Marabas' Wicca Lesson

Has anyone on the forum NOT read Marabas' Occult lesson on
the false origins of Wicca. It is beyond excellent. I'd
love to prattle on about it but I'd be telling too much.
next time you 'hear' anyone 'talk' about WICCA you'll smile.
Please get it when you can, as well as his Beginners guide
to Paganism and Witchcraft. Great stuff.
JK
[Infoburst: Hi JK, Glad you liked Marabas's OEXP069, How to pronounce 'Wicca' has become something of a shibboleth amongst occultists in the know! ;-)

Witchcraft-Gardner.

I find it amusing, if you mention Aleister Crowley to a Wiccian,
they tend to shriek 'Devil! or somesuch horror concept. And yet,
if you read Gardners Book of Shadows, the copyright concessions are: Magick;part 4, and huge chunks of rituals involving The Star
Goddess are exact extracts from Liber Al vel Legis, The cornerstone
of Mr. Crowley's Religious formulation: Thelema. It gets stranger!
My Human Guru, knew Mr. Gardner, who was trained and initiated by Crowley! Knowing of the rift between Wicca and Crowley, told me this , laughing/crying (same thing to Him). Check it out,The Wiccian
Star Godess is Nuit, Godess of infinite Space, and The Infinite Stars Thereof! Here, I find humour, it's hilarious! Book 4;Magick,
& Liber Al are clearly copyrighted, proof. Any Wiccian opinion?
[Infoburst: Sorry Draconuit I can't let you get away with that. M says that there's a world of difference between the idea that Crowley, a one-time friend of GBG, wrote a lot of the prose for Gardner's original book of shadows, (true) and then insisting that Crowley initiated Gardner (untrue). Why would Gardner want to be initiated into hermetic magic when his own Modus Vivendi had always been the promotion of neo-paganism? BB Denise W. ]
