	Not exactly to do with the Occult but I`d like to know everyone`s opinion please. Hi HeadsAkimbo - The smoking ban is part of the increasing state intrusion into freedom of choice. Right away I want to say that I don't actually smoke but got so pissed off with hearing self-righteous moral claptrap from politicians and 'health professionals' that I went out and bought a pack of cheroots. Now whenever some do-gooder bangs on about the 'dangers' of smoking I light up a cheroot and blow smoke at them. ;-) M says that you have to keep your eye on the ball here - the debate is not about the cost to the NHS nor is it about saving people from self-harm for the better good of all. It's all about subjugating individual freedom of choice. If they can get control over what you put in your mouth then they can get control over what you say and what you think. I mean, for all the bleating about health and safety you would think these people don't realise they are going to die eventually whatever their lifestyle is. You are going to have to face death alone so you have a right to do what you want with your life (an it harm none). Health is a relative proposition and M sees a lot of disguised body fascism seeping into this debate and its linked motifs (so-called 'binge' drinking - scares about STDs, recreational drugs, 'obesity', and the constant drip-feed of ludicrous pseudo scientific research on the minutiae of life). M says in the universe there are two cosmic forces. Contraction and Expansion. The Xists contract everything they come into contact with - particularly their anal sphincters! Esoterisists and free-thinkers Expand everything they come into contact with but we are in the minority and are at the moment fighting a losing battle with sleepy people who are too ready to fall into the dictates of the State.
