Hi Plisskin.
I'm incarnate entirely as Thelemite. The Book of The Law, by A. Crowley was transmitted to Him as The Prophet of 3 Egyptian Gods.
It is beautiful, and scary. Much of Crowley's writings seem
dark, scary, to (a) scare off the unworthy. (b) Insure noteriety that His detractors will want His works in print, to show how 'wicked' He was, and (c) to explore the full potential of The God that is within Man. The Religion is profoundly esoteric, with 4 levels of meaning carefully concealed within The Holy Books.
To appreciate them, One should have knowledge of Meditation, contemplation, one-pointedness, The Qaballa, and The procession of Egyptian Gods. An A-Z of Magickal practise may be found in: 'Magick' by A. Crowley. A good book in a decent Magickal library. Some works are full of 'blinds', to conceal the profound
Holy nature within. The moral stance is that each man/woman
discovers their OWN true will, I.E. The True Inner Soul, or Holy Guardian Angel, thereby being in communion with Ones Higher, or God self. At this point of Adepthood, one's vision is clear, and One's true destiny revealed. Obviously a great deal of work then, and for only a specific type.Yet here, you find the joyous release of Woman
liberated, the understanding that We are all light bearers, we
just have to remove the veils, and see The beautiful Star that is within every one of us. Perhaps there is something there for you Plisskin. That's as far as I can go, dear fellow seeker, for we are entirely anti-dogmatic; look at the xstians dogmatic system.
I don't blame xstianity on The Master Jesu, yet I see a foulness, which would not go down too well with any xstian snoops who (Probably are) reading. Out with The Old Aeon, in with The glorious New Aeon! Let us discard our shackles, and stand tall, breathing
deep of The sweetly scented starlight, as more and more of us are born, born to one day be of The Gods!

Me again - and thanks for the responses so far. Would anyone like to suggest some sources for me to look into. I am only aware of Lucifer through reading wikipedia, the Bible and LaVey - I don't recall where I ipickedup on the "Light Bearer" aspect - it might have been Carl Jung or a book on the Sufis. When I asked SA they referred to Blavatsky (who I've never read) and to LHP Practitioners. Any enlightening suggestions gratefully received.

Please, Dear Brother/Sister, explain your viewpoint.
Apparently, most people are 'way off the mark' indicating your
knowledge of a Universal Truth. If you describe Thelemite/O.T.O.
ceremonies, best to check copyright first.
What is this knowledge We cannot understand? Will you at least
attempt to explain your wisdom?
Or do you conceal your knowledge, dissuading others from learning truth, as do many others I have met.

Hi Pliskin 42.
By chance,(?) I took a similar path, worshiping The Egyptian Sun God; Ra, I identified with the incarnate light-bearer, Lucifer.
Indoctrinated by xstian schools, I had to actively destroy these
warped ideas, these smokescreened fear-control devices created
by xtianity, taking more years than I care to recall, until I could
stand; a free Man, able to view our world in clarity.
Good for you, Plisskin, I don't preach, only state universal truths, historic fact, and, in my belief that you should enjoy your unique path, with aid, not preaching, I'll say no more, as our paths
are close at this juncture, I do not wish to taint your path
with my own conception.
One does confess a certain 'excitement' that you have found this,
and do wish you sincere best wishes in your path.

Dear R.P.
Would you be so kind as to share your viewpoint, in brief, on
Lucifer? I only know of Lucifer and His story in The Bible, what is the diffuculty?
Have you studied/practised The Exquisitely beautiful Ritual of
The Marriage of Lucifer and Babalon?
It does delight, that, after thousands of years of being reviled, kept in darkness, the now, very pertinant Babalon, and Lucifer
Bearer of Light, are taking their proper place in The Order of things.
Are you talking about the diffuculty deconditioning ones-self from societies norm? Lucifer=Light bearer, a friend to/humanity.
Is this'diffuculty in understanding' similar to misunderstanding The Lord Shaitan,(Satan) who is a Thelemite Deity, Prosecuter for The Crown, giver of knowledge to Mankind, etc. ?A Great and Holy God.
Please do explain, as able, I am always willing to learn, yet
only recall incenses, The Glorious Ritual mentioned,as Lucifer, having been of Humanity, ascends again.
Looking forward to your opinions. Lets Evolve!

unfortunately this is the most misunderstood aspect of occultism - only long serious study will result in what you seek. I would guess that most of the postings will be way off the mark

I'd be interested in hearing from people about Lucifer. I am interested in developing myself using Lucifer as a focus. From the little I know so far I am defining Lucifer here as an aspect of myself/archetype who is the bringer of light - its liberation I'm after - liberation from my Xist conditioning and for my creative self. I am not into Satanism where this is the opposite of Christianity, I'm not into cursing or posturing - this is a genuine desire on my part to tune into a creative potential in myself. I'd be grateful for any thoughts/comments from those of you out there.
