Hello everyone Im here again of course been under the weather again I get bored with it so will not go on about it.
My new cat Millie is seeing spirit she watches i walk across the ceiling absolutely fascinated and Im fascinated watching her what a wonderful gift they cannot vrbally share with us. She has seen the other black cat (sweep or charlotte) trotting round and looks at them full of wonder. My dog Jack is very good at knowing when I am unwell I was doing my level best to sweep the gardenleaves up but he would not let me just stood in front of me and I couldnt budge I tried to go round the other side of the wishing well in the garden but he beat me to it so I gave in very unraciously. Now when I get out of bed he follows me everywhere and if in the other room and he feels Im in trouble he will go fetch his Dad How blessed I am we really dont deserve this adoration but we have itand should be very grateful which I truly am.
Not quite sure where to put this piece of news but my guide Indian brave and wolf paid me a visit to say that I would be invited to a regression and no way was I to follow through with it. Sure enough a young friend who is learning from me and others came round with the thought I turned it down he must have a good reason for this action and trusting him implicitly I have followed his words.Take Care all Rice & Peas hello Rex are you well Denise Blessings

Many thankyous Mrs.J. Yes a Rite of Passage is essential if they wish to return hurrah if not so be it.
I must say the little imp (6 years old when he died) who I have written about for he drowned in his gardens pond and was by it one day when he looked up to see it nothing of course to do with the pets must this little man came home with me and has settled and has great delight turning over the channels on my tv it drives me to distraction but there you go what can you do.
Be blessed Mrs.J. and write again Im glad this forum has taken off
it was Denise who suggested it so she must be awarded the plaudits
I know crawling again. Millie the new cat is making great strides and of course once again Dad is besotted him and his girls.

Welcome Mrs J.
I would say a rite of passing is essential because it actually does the reverse of what you appear to think it does. A rite of passage does not irretrievably remove a pet's spirit from the physical world but rather builds bridges between worlds. It also helps the pet-owners come to terms with the immediate loss - a very valuable function. That link can then be used later, when and if necessary, by the animal and/or the pet owners.
A rite of passing should be more than a mere eulogy and it was the lack of a good Passing Rite which prompted Marabas to write one. If you want to read how it should be done then try
Marabas's OEXP067 (ANCIENT EGYPTIAN FUNERARY RITE FOR PETS / ANIMALS:) because it is a brilliant re-working and I believe can make all the difference. BB Denise W. ]

Hi AnnB – this is a nice thread. You have brought about a gentleness from some of the forum contributors, you are, I sense, a very special lady.
We have always had dogs and they have all seen presences. They watch entities walk around the room and smell up their legs. I would like to pass on an experience I had with one of our family pets. We homed her from the RSPCA, an overweight jack russel whom we renamed Nellie. They told us she was four years old. However, three years later she was crippled with arthritis and her hair turned white so I suspect a few extra years was added onto her. Dogs in our home went together with kids. I never considered any pet a familiar as I had never had spiritual experiences with them – apart from Nellie and this wasn’t until her death. We had gone out fishing but had to turn back when the sea turned rough. We pulled the boat up the steep gravel drive from the beach and my husband was in a ghastly mood. Nellie was running up the side of the boat and I remember telling my husband “for gods sake don’t run the dog over” and then decided to get out and run with her. The kids did too and when I sensed no more danger I started back to the house. One of the children shouted me and as I looked up Nellie was looking at me – she needed help – I ran as quickly as I could but within a few minutes of me getting there Nellie was dead – she had had a massive heart attack. My son who was holding her told me it was ok that she was only sleeping – he lay her on the gravel and I put my hand on her body. Her heart had stopped but the blood kept pumping around her body slowly so it looked liked she was still breathing but I knew from her eyes there would be no revival. From the bellows of my stomach I screamed – I screamed as loud as I could and in that instant Nellie took me with her through her last breaths – I can only describe the passing on as when you are half asleep and half awake – semi conscious, very peaceful and noises nulled and then we were in summerland. I have heard the other side described as this before and that is truly what it looked like we were in the same place and still the same spirits but it was brighter and thus felt warmer. I could see with such clarity and there was such peacefulness and no senses of emotion at all. Nellie was looking at me and then at her lying body and she really did not make any sense of it at all and then I was back in our vibration and everything looked gray to what I had experienced. Nellie wouldn’t leave my side – she only ever did this when she needed help. When we got home we bought a cherry tree and buried her under this. We did a passing rite for her. She walked into the ether but she didn’t really want to go – she wanted to stay with us. I still miss her and that was three years ago.
Ann B I thought long and hard about sharing this but after reading your comments about clearing it brought to me a terrible thought – maybe she did not want me to help her this way – maybe she just wanted to hang around but I thought I was helping her to move on.
Maybe next time one of our pets dye I will think long and hard before doing a passing rite.
Regards

Many thank you my friend Rex am feeling a lot better now an ready to prattle. John is a kind gentleman but when I am unwell and misbehave (over do it) he becomes a real tyrant my own fault of course.Anyway thought would tell you about Pumpkin she was the runt of the litter living on a farm just up the road to my bungalow My lat husband had bought her home and we took her to the vet to check her over he was always bringing home cats that were in trouble and they were all loved but the vet looked at this tiny bundle she is a waste of time give her 6 months thats all Frank just picked up the little one saying we'll see about that and we tookher home she died about 6 years ago never got any bigger used to sit in my hand a the great age of 20years.
Frank died in hospital in 1989 Brompton Hosp in London, so there was no way that animal could know but the night he died she went outside the house and refused to come in I had to feed her outside make her a littlehome in the greenhouse all through the bad weather she wouldnt come in. Then along came John and we married in six months and what happened in came Pumpkin to live indoors again
straight onto John's lap and she hooked him completely. She died peacefully in my arms we both howled and let Charlotte into our lives.
Another strange cat was Harold when I was on nights at hospital he was always waiting at the bus stop when I came home weird isnt it.
So Rex perhaps your cat is the same they are strange creatures though wonderful, no wonder the Egyptians worshipped them they surely had the right idea.
Take CAre all
RiceandPeas they can drive you to distraction I know

Howaya Anne, Rex. Its a sunny Irish day and im on top form. Ive rescude 2 cats from people who couldnt be bothered. 1 was a timmed kitten who had never been let out. Got him his injections, extended his bounderies and Bobs your uncle a few months later hes a tiger. Aaaaahh. Gave him away to a friend. The other was more a lesson for me. I grew up in a house full of cidar swiging crusties and aswell as many dogs there was an evil cat. It was never fed, never let out so shat everywhere. These were obviously contributing factors to why the cat was evil but that didnt prepare me for the heinous crime it was about to commit. One still and pleasent evening i was happily preparing a bit of dinner, whistling to the sound of stoners coughing, when the evil cat jumped up and nicked my stake. MY STAKE. Obviously i went on a 1 man crusaid and cought the unrepentant bugger, put both my hands round its neck and ........ No chance, couldnt do it. It just wasnt in me. A very strange feeling of having a life in your hands and i learnt alot about my own limitations. I catnaped the cat and gave him to someone who could shoe the Devil from him and as far as i know it led a good honest life after all. I never tolled the crusty girl what i had done nor will i ever. I have a dog now. Big stupid head on her.
All the best

I should also add that the old boy will just not live in the house.
I have tried but when his original owner passed away the next owner fed
him but didn't/wouldn't(?) take him in. Subsequently he is now fully an
outdoor cat though I do have a bed for him in the shed which he likes
complete with sheepskin rug.
