Hi JG, I have given 2 examples of misapplied Magick (something which can not be igored for the sake of beginners). And I hope the examples will push people to getting propper techical advice from Geuine Adepts with Geuine experience. Magick Works!!! Im a novice not an Adept and I am easily put in my place, but I do have questions for the sake of my and all's evolution. Morality, Karma and Retrbiution OXEP 066 is definatly a must for any one concerned about this thread, and thanks for the imput. :)

[Infoburst: Marabas says that in this ongoing debate about magic and the law of threefold return it is common currency for faulty logic to be used and we should strive hard to avoid it. People's lives are not static and experience the flux of good and bad things all the time. In the incidences of things that go from bad to worse in people's lives it is not possible without detailed analysis of six months before and six months after the stated point to ascertain exactly what caused the occurrence but the 'C follows B therefore A indirectly causes C' argument is often used to validate these stories and is very faulty. It's the equivalent of saying that because Hitler was a vegetarian sooner or later all vegetarians will become genocidal dictators. ;-) Can someone answer the question as to why karmic retribution only ever seems to occur to people who believe in karmic retribution? Hi, Ann, R&P, I feel I had to join in and add my imput. You talk of magic rebounding and of a spell to make someone like another person which actually caused the person harm. Reading your messages may well scare beginners from using magic at all I felt. It will be interesting to hear other peoples views but bare in mind the S.A sell a spellkit for revenge which is balanced so that no harm comes to the user. Also,

have you read Marabas's OEXP 066?

Lol Anne, i pay good money for the heebie jeebies. I have had your writtings in my mind for nearly a year now so apologies if i've jumped on you out of the blue, but all im looking for is some respectfull debate. Sorry if my example offended. There was no intent, i was just repeating a tale. Another, and more tactful, tale i have is of my girlfriends mother who wanted her sons work mates to like him as there was some conflict. So, she used a spell. He got ran over and all the work mates visited him in hospital, felt sorry for him, and the conflict was gone. This was a error in her application of Magick though it does ot fit as nicely.
"a Whitch saying about rebounding is An it harm no one do what ye Will" My question would be ..Is this a technical statement implyig that the uiverse punishes those who harm others or a moral statement based on a particular Whitch's experiances?
With fraternal respect

[Infoburst: Presumably you were asking Annb the question rhetorically? A quick glance at history will prove that evil is not punished. Often people with the greatest blood on their hands are lauded as great persons (Genghis Khan, Alexander, etc. Marabas teaches that the idea of
cosmic retribution comes from the conscience. Corrupt priesthoods use this compassion to control those who submit to their world-view. We know when we do something mean and thus the priests can impose guilt upon us. Part of magical training is to break the chains of this indoctrination and set our minds free.
(see Secrets of Mind Control) People who spread warnings about the law of threefold return without thinking about it are unliberated and will punish themselves unconsciously sooner or later, whatever they do; but Magic itself does not rebound in the way that your examples illustrate.

Rice an peas Hello I didnt realise I was giving you the heebie jeebies or am I getting the message wrong. I am trained in pschology and pyschiatry so perhaps see things in a more rational angle sometimes people analyse too much.A Witch's saying about rebounding is An it harm no one do what ye will
This is the idealogy I have always tried to live my life by of course Ive tripped up now and again who hasnt
Your compensation remark about broken backs wasnt very tactful as I too have a broken back as the result of a car doing 80mph landing in the back of our stationery vehicle at a traffic stop on a country road, no amount of compensation could account for pain endured every day though meditation helps also having a deal of friends helps too. I am a lot older than you of course and made youthful errors but they are a learning curve. At present am very unwell as my compnsatory back has gone onto another level and the walking is geting a lot harder But I travel astrally also in mind away from the bed so am quite happy. Take care and do realise that badness can rebound back onto the bringer I have seen it time and time again

Hi Anne, hope all is well. If I may, I would like to respectfuly challage one of your ideas about Magick "rebouding". I tried to tackle it before but due to youth I came across a bit arrogant. From what i can see, there seems to be 2 elements at play here
1 Subconscience resistance... ie The Gods are trying to teach us something
2 Physical resistance... this is best understood from the tale of the person who enchants for a fortune only to break there back and recieve compensation as that was the easiest path for the magick to manifest.
Methinks holding these 2 ideas in our heads we can give other more technical advice and avoid giving people the eeby jeebies.
What say ye Sister

Hello all been away a long time been trying to get to grips with expressionism post impressionism in art have finally clicked I hope if this has any funny words written backwards please excusethe Me has decided to pay a visit anyway enough of that. Im writing to say my cat Charlotte who passed over and has been helping me with John's husband beliefs he always had said he isnt a believer and thas fine with me although sometimes I threaten to turn him into a frog but he must have to admit that witchcraft works as I worked a spell and along he came how glad was I that it bought someone good well the other day we were just going out and we both heard a bell tinkling how did she get out John asked me of Millie, so we turned round nothing there just the tinkling of her little bell now she can follow us to her hearts content and not be put back indoors. Also strangely my late husband has been travelling about with us when we go to Chelsmford on the country bus,for someone who always went by car it must be quite novel. He just sits at the back quietly looking out of the window.Well will everyone have a peaceful Yuletide And a special big hug goes to Spike

Hello everyone Im here again of course been under the weather again I get bored with it so will not go on about it.
My new cat Millie is seeing spirit she watches i walk across the ceiling absolutely fascinated and Im fascinated watching her what a wonderful gift they cannot vrbally share with us. She has seen the other black cat (sweep or charlotte) trotting round and looks at them full of wonder. My dog Jack is very good at knowing when I am unwell I was doing my level best to sweep the gardenleaves up but he would not let me just stood in front of me and I couldnt budge I tried to go round the other side of the wishing well in the garden but he beat me to it so I gave in very unraciously. Now when I get out of bed he follows me everywhere and if in the other room and he feels Im in trouble he will go fetch his Dad How blessed I am we really dont deserve this adoration but we have itand should be very grateful which I truly am.
Not quite sure where to put this piece of news but my guide Indian brave and wolf paid me a visit to say that I would be invited to a regression and no way was I to follow through with it. Sure enough a young friend who is learning from me and others came round with the thought I turned it down he must have a good reason for this action and trusting him implicitly I have followed his words.Take Care all Rice & Peas hello Rex are you well Denise Blessings

Welcome Mrs J.
I would say a rite of passing is essential because it actually does the reverse of what you appear to think it does. A rite of passage does not irretrievably remove a pet's spirit from the physical world but rather builds bridges between worlds. It also helps the pet-owners come to terms with the immediate loss - a very valuable function. That link can then be used later, when and if necessary, by the animal and/or the pet owners.
A rite of passing should be more than a mere eulogy and it was the lack of a good Passing Rite which prompted Marabas to write one. If you want to read how it should be done then try
Marabas's OEXP067 (ANCIENT EGYPTIAN FUNERARY RITE FOR PETS / ANIMALS:) because it is a brilliant re-working and I believe can make all the difference. BB Denise W. ]

Hi AnnB – this is a nice thread. You have brought about a gentleness from some of the forum contributors, you are, I sense, a very special lady.
We have always had dogs and they have all seen presences. They watch entities walk around the room and smell up their legs. I would like to pass on an experience I had with one of our family pets. We homed her from the RSPCA, an overweight jack russel whom we renamed Nellie. They told us she was four years old. However, three years later she was crippled with arthritis and her hair turned white so I suspect a few extra years was added onto her. Dogs in our home went together with kids. I never considered any pet a familiar as I had never had spiritual experiences with them – apart from Nellie and this wasn’t until her death. We had gone out fishing but had to turn back when the sea turned rough. We pulled the boat up the steep gravel drive from the beach and my husband was in a ghastly mood. Nellie was running up the side of the boat and I remember telling my husband “for gods sake don’t run the dog over” and then decided to get out and run with her. The kids did too and when I sensed no more danger I started back to the house. One of the children shouted me and as I looked up Nellie was looking at me – she needed help – I ran as quickly as I could but within a few minutes of me getting there Nellie was dead – she had had a massive heart attack. My son who was holding her told me it was ok that she was only sleeping – he lay her on the gravel and I put my hand on her body. Her heart had stopped but the blood kept pumping around her body slowly so it looked liked she was still breathing but I knew from her eyes there would be no revival. From the bellows of my stomach I screamed – I screamed as loud as I could and in that instant Nellie took me with her through her last breaths – I can only describe the passing on as when you are half asleep and half awake – semi conscious, very peaceful and noises nulled and then we were in summerland. I have heard the other side described as this before and that is truly what it looked like we were in the same place and still the same spirits but it was brighter and thus felt warmer. I could see with such clarity and there was such peacefulness and no senses of emotion at all. Nellie was looking at me and then at her lying body and she really did not make any sense of it at all and then I was back in our vibration and everything looked gray to what I had experienced. Nellie wouldn’t leave my side – she only ever did this when she needed help. When we got home we bought a cherry tree and buried her under this. We did a passing rite for her. She walked into the ether but she didn’t really want to go – she wanted to stay with us. I still miss her and that was three years ago.
Ann B I thought long and hard about sharing this but after reading your comments about clearing it brought to me a terrible thought – maybe she did not want me to help her this way – maybe she just wanted to hang around but I thought I was helping her to move on.
Maybe next time one of our pets dye I will think long and hard before doing a passing rite.
Regards
