A banishing ritual such as you describe would really come in handy for me right now (perhaps you might expand on it?), as I have been seething in anger and frustration recently over RL money troubles. I used to do a really nice relaxing meditation about floating in the midst of a galaxy; maybe I'd best dust that off now and try it again, before I go nuts and start throwing things at some innocent bystander.

Looking at my own writing, I'm verging on some form of dogmatic
Preaching! My psychology is transparent; I seem to have started this thread whilst considering an action which would damage a mans reputation.
I've decided to leave the matter with Higher planes, go on a retreat. Here's a present, have you tried it? Perform The banishing Ritual etc. and visualise yourself rocketing up into space, the world disappearing below, as you use your Will and heart as high as you can, now rest, look around. No doubt loads of you are familiar with it. Have a good one!(And always remember to return to your body fully :-)

Hi guys, to go further, I need someone to present an equal & opposite viewpoint, a Bhuddist perhaps, who extols the virtues of compassion etc. Then we put the two ideas together, each 'dying' in the counterclasp of it's opposite, thereby resulting in 0, or in this case, a third element : 1 resultant from 2.
Thereby, we can elevate/internalise a stage, and, well, We'll
see if destiny goes that way.

That was poorly phrased; Did you hear the one about the brass God, built with feet of clay? It fell over.
I meant, it's not 'evil' to consider that 'charity begins at home.' 'Firstly, put your own house in order.' rather than wasting energy in ultimately futile, even self harming, pursuits.
When you have built a solid foundation, and expanded, you may be able to afford to help others.
When Crowley observed disaster, often clothed as a woman, looming on his desciples, He'd warn them, once. Then, He'd simply observe. He watched 12 of His loved ones get blasted.
I started off on The Path, with a soul full of compassion. I still do 'good', I'm not a monster, I'm a realist.
That's all you're getting, and it's more than you deserve:)

I'll try this, my heart's good, yet I am very blunt.
Dear 'Ja sand an sky', I wonder where you live, and if you've tried this 'kindness and empathy' approach? I live in London. I've tried compassion to many. Londoners, compared to country folk, can be ruthless nasty people. To display 'goodness' in the form of giving food, shelter etc. is generally considered weakness, how many times do you need to be robbed, beaten, emotionally drained, until you realise you're doing something wrong?
It would seem preferable, to me, to have my head metaphorically bitten off, than walk, unprepared, unguided, into a lion's den.
I'm not proud of the situation here, I called you 'jam sandwich' because if you moved to 'The Smoke' if you are an adult, with the
attitude you propose, you'd get more than a metaphor for your troubles. RE: Lavey; not all vampires drink blood; have you never felt yourself emotionally drained by a needy person sharing their problems? Do you not have family, a Mum maybe, or close circle of Friends, who need your emotional support? Do you never tire?
This writing is a compassion. Yet I'm sworn to aid fellow aspirants, where possible. If one person realises it's not 'evil' to be firm, not blasting your energy off in pointless pursuit, along the lines of 'Charity begins at home' 'Make sure your house is in order' then it's been worthwhile writing this.
Do you consider this an unfair criticism? If you intend walking confidently through the inner planes, you will require a a potent regime of self regulation, not easy. Being warned of the possible pitfalls you face, is a gift for you. Good luck/self generated karma.
