I've been reading Marabas's candlemagick spellbook and I'd like to perform the rite involving the Horned God, to develop feyness. I'm having trouble getting a sense of what the Horned God is about as my dictionary (of Gods) doesn't say much about him.
I've looked on the net but there's not much other than brief paragraphs on him being the Lady's consort and the male aspect of nature.
I'm trying to get a better sense of him to help me in the invocation. What is his power like?

[Infoburst: Hi Douglas, Sounds like you need to look at our
Guide To The Gods offer. Anyone seriously considering the invocation of god forms must have a trusty reference work to guide them with the correspondences, powers, intelligences and images of the gods.

The Guide To The Gods offer, see here, is the best ever. When you have had some practical experience of invocation you should also look at
Angelic Images which shows how you can define a god's character, image, powers etc, by analysing it's name using a little known qabbalistic formula. EVERY ancient civilisation had a horned god in its pantheon to represent the ultimate, personified masculine force of nature which flows through all male animals, including humans. The symbols and images used to represent the Horned God are modified by the cultural perspectives and period of the civilisation itself but the fundamentals are the same. Horns, Hair, Courage, Strength, Muscle, Growl, Priapic, Duty, Stud, Hero, Directness, Resolver, etc., Marabas says that Eliphas Levi's Image of Baphomet was perhaps the most sophisticated and complete montage of the Horned God - you can see it and read about it in his
