	Also if it is used as Mirror of Hathor and painted black, can it not then be used with Universal Accumulator Fluid for Protection, etc? <P><I> [INFOBURST: The S.A. Magick Mirror can be used for skrying purposes and also in a separate magical operation as a magical lens to either transmit or 'capture' negative or/and positive psychic energy. You can't use both operations (divination and projection) at once but you can clean the mirror (see instructions that came with it) and 'reprogram' for either. A Black Mirror of Hathoor is simply another method of creating a magic mirror in which a black gloss reflective surface is painted on instead of the polished surface which comes with the S.A. Magic Mirror. Magically there is no difference as when used for projecting energies the black coating should have acumulator in it anyway. For divination purposes I prefer the reflective surface as it comes; but some like the black surface better. 	I am a bit confused; is the mirror meant to be looked at like say looking at a football, or should it be the side where it dips in, as in the Brass Sorcerers' Apprentice Mirror? I am just getting to grips with this. Also if I brush on Universal Accumulator Fluid onto the Brass will it spread all over or will it form into a puddle in one place, so to speak? Magic Mirror </a>you get technical aftersales advice like this for free and it is best done by emailing us direct so we can reply more fully and more confidentially than on the public forum. However,succinctly; as it says in the instructions you use the concave side of the mirror - where it dips in - for skrying. The Accumulator coating only has to be thinly painted on and any excess which pools should be wiped off. You do not need to apply this coating if you are only going to use the mirror for divination purposes. I use a magic mirror frequently and in my opinion they are far more magically effective both for divination and for 'programing' than a crystal ball or other speculum.
