Anonymous, when I read Dr. Karswell's contribution, I understood that he was questioning the motives of people who took material and themes from your site, and posted it on general Wiccan, Pagan, Occult focussed bulletin boards etc. as though the contributors were part of that community.

I didn't notice anywhere, any comment about the authenticity or otherwise of Mr. Quintas, or that he may be involved in this underhanded technique aimed (presumably) at shaking the faith of the newbies on the scene.

Rather, he appeared to be laying that at the door of your readers, your compatriots, or yourself, since with net anonymity it is impossible to determine who is responsible

It's funny what you find when you do a google.

Actually, the person below is quite serious, and if he's pretending to be a "xtian" as part of your conspiracy theory, he certainly has me fooled.

I haven't heard from Roberto since 2006. I finally had to block his emails. 2 years later and he seems as obsessed as ever! Believe it or not, some Wiccans out there can't stand anything negative to be said about them, while anything negative about the evil "xtians" is true w/o question.

Here's how he closed one of his emails from 2006(I keep all the hate emails on file in case I need to go to Law Enforcement with it)
He has limited English skills being Brazillian.

"stay with your imaginary messias, the bastard jesus christ
i stay with Cernunnos and Aradia.
good bye."

I still remain unconvinced, despite such witty closers. And all his hexes (Or "hoaxes", as his he calls them in his limited English) have failed to work.

Oh well. Long live free speech anyway.

Signed,

Anonymous of usminc.org

It's quite interesting to look around the net at the moment and see elements of the message promoted on the website mentioned below cropping up on a number of Wiccan/Witchcraft forums.

Since the website owner is an ex occultist and is now a Christian, it sort of makes you think what the folk who are taking part of his message and injecting it into Wiccan (etc) debates are trying to achieve.

Could this be an attempt to repeat the success of the fake New Age magazine which appeared some years ago (put out by Christians) with a view to leading people away from their chosen beliefs?

How many will fall for it this time?
