I guess it's time for me to add something to the message board.
First of all, let me say that I've thought a great deal about the reunion, and I can truly say that we all had something special at Niles. I think this is witnessed by the very fact that we're still adding messages for each other to read. The reunion never really ended.
Ira, Les, Marty, everyone involved in putting this thing together have, not only my deepest thanks, but also admiration (even though I didn't recognize you at first, Marty).
We have all gone through a lot of changes, our paths have changed directions and crossed many times, and will continue to do so until our journey's end.
I did not get to see everyone I wanted to, and I feel bad about that, but I am glad I was able to see, at least, you Bob, Ira, Les, Jeff, Steve Sussman, Sharon, Barb, Adele, Ellen, Earl, Steve Glink, Robin, and my old neighbor, Michelle. I know I'm forgetting people now, but it was great seeing everyone.
My wife had a wonderful time as well. They don't have reunions like this in korea. Everyone she met made her feel very comfortable, and I thank you all for that as well.
As a last thought, I was in music class when I found out that Kennedy had been shot. Our class was being unruly, and the teacher stopped the class to ask us how we could be behaving like that when the President had just been shot. That was the first we had heard of it, and yes, we started to cry.
