OK,OK. I know all of you had some wonderful grammar school memories, but those of you who went to Cleveland must agree that we had some really distinctive (!) faculty members. For instance, my fourth grade teacher was Kathy Ireland, who was not only a former Miss Skokie
(really) but George's daughter (yes, that George.)
We had her the year after the Ramblers' winning season; she could sink a basketball from across the room and we all got "Go Ramblers Go" buttons.
Remember the "Insectorama" play- I was Miss
Butterfly and my mom made me these great wings.
In 5th grade we had Mr. Gruner who looked just like Illya Kuryakin on the Man from Uncle show.
In 6th grade we had Mrs. Lanphere who was big but
would bend over in her miniskirts and Mr. Malcos
who was always pulling up his pants. But I don't remember the music teacher with the red lips, Laurie; I know you will agree with the rest since I think we had all the same teachers. Cleveland had something for everyone! The reunion was wonderful; Mark, I was so happy to see you too.
The committee did a marvelous job. How about a
Class of 1973 turns 50 party- informal like Rocky's- I'll help. Thanks again...
