Hi Mindy! Sorry I took so long to answer. Been super busy (have 3 wedding aniversaries and 4 birthdays in July--Catholic--what can I say?) Anyway, your Mom sounds like a great cook. I'm always looking for tips. My family gave me a gas grill for a house warming gift and have been burning stuff ever since. Making little improvement, but still need help...anyone else out there have gas grilling tips?? Anyone interested in having a grilling party? I mean, that's what the scorching heat is for, right?

grilling isnt really that hard i recommend charcoal if you are just begining to learn, also if you like juicy and flavor food! :) gas grills are expensive and they make your food taste nasty, ya know all dried out? :( :) i recommend finding like a guy family member or a close friend to show ya how... hehe...ya know to save money for the gasoline and stuff! also because i think cooking classes are a rip off :) if you are like an older woman i am sure my ma would like to teach you how to grill..hehe...i am 16 and i know how to cook some chinese and country style and also some mexican meals and i make a MEAN cool breakfast! hehe i LOVE to brag about my cooking! well if you are needing grilling lessons and you are in the OKlahoma area maybe my mom can teach you..idk...bye hon! good luck!

New to this site--actually new to internet. Feel like I've just dropped onto the planet! How could I be so old and miss so much??? My days of bar-hopping are sooooo over. I mean, it was a blast, but now I'd just rather find friends. I love to create---art, writing, sewing, cooking---whatever captures the day's mood. I'm always looking for great movies and great BBQ recipes (actually, I NEED grilling lessons!--have ruined many expensive steaks.)...thanks for listening. Happy Pride Week ladies.

I have to say something. is there ANY decent classy way for a teenage lesbian/bi gal to find a lesbian/bi friend/special someone?
i think the wreck room is a SERIOUS affront. there should be some type of club teen lesbian/bi girls in Oklahoma can meet at and talk and stuff..right?

awesome! Thanks. I'm starting the apartment search, but I don't know a lot of people in OKC so it's all a bit overwhelming.

My own personal experience and from talking to some friends who have lived in other areas--the northwest side of town (north of 63rd).

Hi! I'm going to be moving up to OKC in a couple of months. Just wondering if anyone had any opinions on what areas/apartments are good which ones to avoid, and places to go.
Thanks in advance!
