ThatMeanGirl i agree with everything you just said!
its creepy to see how narrow minded and thick skulled some people are. if it keeps on like this we are going to have another holocaust type thing.
"be yourself, last time someone tried to make everyone fit in, 6,000,000 people died!"
spread love not hate.

I wish more people would take into consideration that not all Americans are Christians and that not subscribing to a religion does not automatically make us morally degraded assholes, much as believing in a higher power does not instantly make someone a good person.
It irks me to see so much positive response to politicians simply because they claim to be Christian. Now it's not so much a race between a Christian candidate and a non-Christian one -- it's come down to a Christian pissing contest. "No marriage for gays!" says candidate one. "Well, no marriage for gays AND burn their babies!" says candidate two. "Well, I meant all that plus kill the illegal aliens! So there!" It's scary to watch.

Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/okclesbian and you'll be prompted to sign into your yahoo account and after that, I think you'll see the options to join (I'm not sure as it's been awhile since I've joined a yahoo group and I set this one up). Let me know if you have any problems.

Hey Jennifer--I knew you weren't meaning "like that." :-) I'd like to meet you and Lissa sometime, my fellow "bible dumpers"--ha ha. Are you guys in the yahoo group? If not, get on in there:-) We're talking about starting up a supper club after the holidays. Of course one doesn't have to be in the yahoo group to participate (I'm saying that for any lurkers out there:-)

You go girls:-) And Lissa, you're showing more compassion to our poor, brainwashed, bigoted visitor than I am because her comments remind me of what a former pastor of one of the open and affirming churches once said regarding the bible thumpers, "Sometimes you just want to say to them, 'Jesus loves you and I'm trying.'"

So okclesbian.com has "misinformation?" And what exactly is the "misinformation?" Most of the articles are opinions and are stated as such. There's a lot of poetry--can't imagine how art could be "misinformation." The health articles were all written by a physical therapist who did her research. If we want to talk about misinformation, let's take a look at your web site, believer.com. It can be said that the information on that site is misinformation because it's trying portray interpretations of the Bible as fact. Another example of misinformation--how many names are you posting under in here? Seems like there's either a couple of 70-year-olds posting in here using the same phrases, although brainwashed people tend to do that, or one person posting under different names trying to make it look like they've got more support than they actually do. I'm also curious as to how okclesbian.com was mentioned on newsok.com message boards.
