I checked out that web site--loved the Bush thumbs t-shirt:-) Geez, I hope Jennifer doesn't get called (makes me sick thinking about it--can only imagine how it makes you feel). During the "first" Iraq war when Dubya Sr. was our "leader," I protested the war by wearing a long dangly peace earring (I was a McManager at the time and dangly earrings were not allowed--I was such a rebel:-) Now I have a peace sign tattoo (I really should have came of age during the late 60s--I would have fit right in. Of course I probably would have gotten arrested:-)

OHH, MOlly I just got really excited! There's a web cite you HAFTA check out. www.demockratees.com
They have some great "Don't confuse support of the Warrior with support of the war" tees available. I'm still trying to measure how drasticly my warobe will change in protest if they take Jennifer. It will get ugly, both my protest, and my warobe.

Go to the video store and get it before the ice storm:-) I admire you for serving your country (my brother is in the Air Force--18 years)--it's something I couldn't do because I couldn't handle someone telling me what to do all the time (a girlfriend would be different:-) The cool thing is that you haven't become brainwashed by the military, like my brother is. He got upset with me because I had in my e-mail .sig, "FU Dubya, end the occupation" (or something like that--a guy near my hometown got arrested for holding that sign when Dubya's bus went through). I had to remind him that a person could be against the war but still support the troops.

no i haven't seen it but your right we should watch it. I don't think the man has a Fing clue what he is doing so instead of facing the real issue he resorts to using old worn out excuses and sends more troops over there, hell if you think about it bush is just as bad as sadam when it comes to killing his own people. Don't get me wrong, i'm in the Army but i was 17 when i signed up, i thought i was doing good by "serving my Country" but were just serving the dip shit in the white house, pride in your country and serving for the land of the free has nothing to do with the Army anymore, the military is no longer the military its a religious crusade.

I read somewhere that some of Dubya's own people were saying that BEFORE 9/11 Dubya was talking about going after Saddam. What pisses me off is that he *used* what happened after 9/11 as an excuse to do so. He even said once, when asked about bin Laden, that he doesn't even think about him. WTF? He was the one behind the attacks on this country and our "leader" doesn't think about him? Have you guys watched "Fahrenheit 911?" If you haven't, you need to check it out.

I just feel like it is NOT the responsibility of the United States to emerge a new nation. That is not our nation to create. America was built by Americans, shouldn't Iraq have the same privlege? To be built by their own people. If we want to help, give them supplies, money, non-perishable food items, but send our troops home!

well i don't neccesarily think of it as another vietnam, if your referring to the fact that the religious war in Iraq right now has nothing to do with us and we stepped in anyways then, yes i agree with you. If you are in reference in to war on terrorism, well i think that we have made our point that we aren't gonna take any shit from anybody and they should have never struck against us but we didn't have any realy reason to go on a man hunt for sadam, correct me if i'm wrong but it was binladen that terrorised New York, not Sadam, don't get me wrong i know that he wasn't exactly a nice guy by any means but to my knowledge he didn't have anything to do with 9/11. The problem with Americas leaders, notice i didn't say America, but Americas Leaders, is that they act like my older brother does, although there are things going on over there that have nothing to do with us we still feel the need to listen in and say something about what they are doing and if we don't approve we need to change it right away and make them act the way that we think they should, next thing you know were gonna be going back over to Africa and changing the tribes over there and trying to make them more urbanized and if they don't well kill them all and make up some excuse, like "They were harboring one of the cousins to a mother of one of the terrorists that blew up the Twin Towers." So yea in a way it is like another vietnam but i do feel like we need to keep looking for binladen, i don't think that we should be in Iraq though.
