Before i wondered this, I was actually wondering something else, but what i've arrived at now is: I wonder why I stopped typing the first time on this gay page? Am I really that paranoid? I guess so. Paranoia isn't me, so what i was first wondering is why doesn't anyone use the conditional tense properly?

It was about 10 years ago or so when there was a big stink about how music lyrics were responsible for kids trying to kill themselves, do drugs, etc (Tipper Gore was a big one behind making noise about it)? It resulted in the stickers being placed on CDs to indicate explicit lyrics. Now Sally, as an ELECTED official, representing all sorts of people in her district--young, old, single, married, gay, straight, employed, unemployed, student, retired, etc., really should watch what she says when she's speaking as an elected official, otherwise, and this is just my opinion, how different is the situation then from the music lyrics scenario if someone goes out and harms a gay person based on what she said?

hate speech

I think hate speech is still protected as free speech. I'm 100% sure, actually.
Like I have the total right to say 'Sally kern and her like are a threat to freedom in America and totally pervert the teachings of Jesus.'
If someone kills them for that...I didn't give the instructions or do the crime, I shouldn't be responsible.

About the Sally Kern issue--yes, people have the freedom of speech but is it freedom of speech when a person is saying the types of things that she's saying--things that could very well incite violence? I'm waiting for someone to get beaten up, or worse yet, for being gay and the suspect saying, "Well Sally Kern said that gays were more of a threat to this country than terrorists and this person is gay so I'm taking care of a terrorist." Saying that she believes homosexuality is a sin--that's free speech. Saying that gays and people of the Islamic faith are a worse threat to this country than terrorists--that's no longer free speech, that's crossed into hate speech. Just my 2 1/2.

Oooh...good questions.
What if someone was named Honest? and called herself Honest Honest? how big of a liar would you expect her to be?
The reason why there is that warning on children's medicine is because they were written before Child Labor laws were set. Yup, back in good ol' 1800s children were driving to work in their Ford T's and operating bulldozers. We need to update those labels.
I think toothpicks with one point keep me from poking myself in the hand with the other point. It's a safety issue. Toothpick-related deaths have gone down with 1 point toothpicks.
Maybe spaghetti is just really fat angel-hair?
Well, if you take the word sundae and break it up into its latin roots, you get sun, which means gimme, and dae, which means some o' dat om nom nom.
If you mean waxing body, it's because girls ilke to be less hairy in general. If you mean waxing cars, then I'd say it's actually a stereotypical guy thing (but I like doing it). If you meant waxing nostalgic, then it's actually more of an grandparent thing.
Well, we drink opaque stuff that came out of our mom's teats. Maybe cavemen just wanted to do a taste comparison.
Well, I respect Kern's right to voice her opinion, I'm not going to drown her out. But i have no respect for what she said. This world needs less stupidity and more focus.
Still, if i saw her at a store i would still say hi and ask about the weather and stuff. There's more to her than homophobia. I'm not sure if she'd do the same for me. Maybe? I hope.

1. why is it when someone has the name "Honest" in front of their first name, they seemingly cant be trusted?
2. why is "yellow" trucking company use orange trucks?
3. why is it that on childrens' medicine, ages 6 and under, it has warnings for operating heavy machinary and driving?
4. why does Baker Street pub on memorial have handicap parking spaces right in front of the stairs, when the handicap ramp is around on the side?
5. is there ANY reason toothpicks with only one point are superior to those with two? if not what is thier purpose.
6. isnt angel hair pasta just extra thin spagetti?
7. when was it that icecream on a brownie, became a "sundae" and where did the "e" come from?
8. what is so feminine about waxing? why is that a "girl" thing?
9. why would someone think that drinking opaque fluid out of the teets of a large farm animal was a good idea?
10. why did it take me until today, to realize hate speech is still a freedom, nobody has to like everything, its up to the indivisual to know what they believe and why they believe it. its not fair for me to be angry with sally kern, i have the freedom not to listen, and the freedom to vote for someone whom i better agree with, i value my freedoms, and in turn respect hers.
