I'm not sure if I can help you because I've only been out 30 years and I'm not a teacher now, but I was a substitute teacher and a teacher aide for special needs kids--1st thru 6th grade. That was the hardest, most frustrating and fulfilling job of my life! Without a doubt I either went home thrilled from the hugs or crying from the frustration. Let me know if you want any more info. um i am a teen in OKlahoma and i have came out but not to all my friends (cuz of fear of being made fun of so much i would have to change schools) BUT i have came out to ALL my family...
u can interview me if u want

I am in my Master's program doing a research paper on the lesbian community in Oklahoma City. I am looking for people to interview,especially if you have been out and about for 40 or more years.
My days as a lesbian only go back to 1987 when I came out at 21. If there is anyone who would like to email and participate in my research please contact me. We can communicate via email so you can be safe. If there are any teacher's I would really like to hear from you.
Thanks for anyone who will support my work and I hope to go on with this subject as my dissertation.
