Never Mind, I'll just be a spectator for $20.00
BOSS must really mean "BringOn$$", $450.00 Entry, $250.00 Licence.
See Ya In April

In general the only events at the'Glen where advanced purchace tickets are needed would be The Toyota opening day April 30, the IRL and Rolex series weekend June2-4 and the Nextel Nascar weekend Aug11-13. I just went and checked and my first thoughts were correct, the HSR Vintage Sports Car weekend June16-18 does nor require advanced purchase. Here is the ticket info from the 'Glen site:

Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate during the event. No advance purchases are available.

Weekend General Admission - $20
Sunday General Admission - $15
Children (Ages 6-12) - $5
Children (Ages 5 & under) - FREE
General Weekend Camping - $35
Reserved Pit Road Camping - $50

We will probably go up early as well to catch some racing. Too many times we go to these great places and are so focused on our own racing efforts we have no time to enjoy the area and the history associated with the area. I hope this works out, it could be fun.

Gary, do you know if the tickets to watch that Saturday racing are so special that they have to be purchased in advance? Or is it a kind of thing were we could purchase with cash in had at the gate?

I just got my ticket renewal for the 'Glen and it shows HSR Historic Sports Car GP for June 16-18. The Zippo Vintage GP is Sept8-10. Was it the HSR event you are intrested in attending? I always attend the Vintage Grand Prix , usually scheduled for the weekend after Labor Day in September.

If we go to the Glen. We will be running the Monday after the Vintage GP, I plan on going early and catch a little of the VGP. Also don't forget to stop by the Motor Racing Museam & Research Center downtown Watkins Glen. Plan on being there an hour or two.

I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the 'Glen. I did my Skippy school there and try to get back every chance I get. I vote for the 'Glen.

OK - So Hard at Play Racing, votes the Glen for 2006, but hope we can keep the relationship open with Mosport for a future invite. Maybe an every other year Swap with Summit or BeaverRun?

Steve: I guess tht means we'll have to add a second level to the trailer to haul the bike.... Calling Phil Picard...

Maybe with could make arrangemetns to have it hauled up there by one on the LI or Westchester teams with a larger trailer.

OK for those drivers out there that remember the Bridge (bridgehampton Long Island) Mosport is the bidge with walls. With that said I would rather do the Glen. If it goes into a monday, I will take the week & stay up there & ride around on my motorcycle for a few days in the country side. I am told it is the best for a nive vacation!

Don't know about the drive time for Mosport Exctly, was told about 500 Miles.

I'm open to either, both are great venues. Biggest issue is going to be fact that the the Glen is a Sunday/Monday. Price may be better at the Glen.

Since we are talking about a week-day, I'll let my Crew Chief, Steve Decide...

Steve, where are you? Chime in....

The FPR schedule has 11 races not including Watkins Glen or Mosport. Both are double race dates. We have room on the schedule for 1 date(otherwise we would have 15 races)
Do you like : Watkins Glen - June 19-20
or Mosport Sept. 30 -Oct 1
Please let me know by the end of this week.
