I found Phil's Gear Tool on the "Links, Forms, Downloads" Section of this site (See Black Left menu on any FPR Site Page). I've used the tool for years, and it is very helpful. Thanks, Phile for sharing with us.

PS: Also note that the 2006 FPR Member package is avail for download on that same page.

on APEX you will find my interactive excel gear chart that will allow you to select gears,final drive ratio,wheel diameter,. it will return speed to rpm, rpm drop to next gear etc. If you cant find it let me know I post it here if possible or e-mail it out

Thanks Ambrose. I have driven the south course a few times (not in an FC though). I guess it is mostly a 3rd-4th gear track in a formula car? I have only driven it in 5 and 6 speed production based cars.

Corrected Posting: Problem with Pocono is with so many track config you never know what reccommendations you are getting. Our Pocono South setup was 16-35, 19-33, 21:30, 24:27 - This was for a FF 1600.

U don't do allot of shifting on Pocono South, it is a farily quick but simple track.

We have no gears to choose from, if you know of anyone with MK-5 gears, let me know.

Welcome aboard.
If you Google "apexspeed f2000" you will find the Apex Speed site that has a wealth of information about gearing and a bunch of other usefull information on F/C-F/F.
