No Summitt Plans for me, I start pulling parts we need to have fixed this week. Even if we were ready, I am in the middle of big project at work, that forces me to stay close to home the next couple weeks.

Thanks for the tips and help Ambrose, it was great meeting you. I ended up only doing two sessions (the 2nd being the one that you saw me stop on pit lane to see what was jabbing me in the shoulder).
The car was a blast to drive! No mechanical problems (good thing). No Summit Point next weekend for you?

Tony:
Nice seeing you on track... By the end of the day, really looked like you were moving. This week we start working on the car again, see you in May back at Pocono.

Was nice to have the car out... put it back into the garage last night, after washing all the mud off of her. Our Nerxt event will probably be FPR, May 7th... Trying to see if I can get a few FF's to come out an play. The north course is alwasy entertaining.

Hey Ambrose:
Sorry I couldnt be out there with you guys. I was trying to get there for Saturday practice, but the weather forcast didn't look too promising (i dont have rains yet) plus I didn't get the alignment done on Friday. So I spent the day doing the alignment and mounted some etrack in the trailer. I will be out Saturday on the North Course....

Got fogged out Fri, snowed out on Sat, did some off roading Sun - several times (No rear brakes into the Pocono south Course Hair Pin).
-- Broke new starter shaft
-- Going off we picked up a rock under the nose box. broke the nose mount.
-- Keep stalling at low RPM
-- Shifter & steering wheel needs re-positioing
By the pole sprint we had the brakes fixed, and the stalling partially resolved, and were picking up the pace quite a bit. That is when the nose totally let go and we trailered it. We could of had it ready for the race, but did not feel it was worth the effort, had an early diner instead.
Overall, B**bs did well. Test was sucussful. Very comfortable car. Learned quicky that the 2L have allot more torque, can't put the powever down int he slow corners like wiht a FF.
We had typical sorting issues for a motor that has has not run in 4 years and a frame that has never seen a race track. She will be a strong capiable car in short order.
BTW: I've never ever seen the Pocono off track grooming this bad. There were puddles, drop-offs and pretty big rock sitting right over the curb. Any off with one of our cars would of nearly guranteed underside car damage. The rock that screwed us up was the size of a grapefuit.
