I have had some discussions with Mike Rand of the F2000 series concerning our respective members being able to drive in each others series. This would involve only FC cars. Since both series follow SCCA rules, including Zetec cars, there would be no problem with any driver adding to his/her race schedule with additional participation in the other series.
No details have been worked out , yet, but it looks promising and helpful to both series. FPR drivers must have a national SCCA license. This is not a problem if you have a season of racing and can submit a resume'. Joe Stimola would be able to help with obtaining licenses.
One race on the F2000 schedule is a support race for Champ Car at Cleveland.
