The folks at Bell were a pleasure to deal with. Got a new Bell Vortex Helment, A Free Shield, A Spare Shield, New HANS Clips (Installed) and some tearoffs, all for a Tick over $500. Gotta love it... Membership has it's benifits.
Support those sponsors...

i use the vortex, nice helmet, has some little trip devices on top to help with buffetting. I have expreieced a slight lift at very high speeds. Think i am going to install the spoiler kit that Aria sells, you can place the chin and top spoiler for your needs. no problem with HANS use

Bell Helmet Question - FC

Time for a new helmet. My 5 year old SA2000 Bell M2 don't cut it any longer. With lack of any aero aids (Severe buffeting and lift) and weight, time for a replacement.
Question - In the Bell Helmet line what do you guys think of the Vortex? I know several of you run them.
I was thinking of going one step further, but all the ohter helmets have those chin bills, was condering if you found that they interfere with HANS or view of dash.
