Here is a note from our event chairman and VRG president:

I want to thank all of you that came to the Glen and helped make our event such a success. Being a new event, late in the year, we were concerned that we might not cover our expenses. We needed 100 cars to break even. With a very good chance of rain in the forecast we did have a number of cancellations and no shows. However, before cancellations we had 139 entries and we ended up with 122 cars that showed up to race.
The weather was warm and dry except for Friday afternoon, which got pretty wet. There was some great close racing going on in each race group. One of the best parts of the weekend, there was no car to car contact. With only four race groups everyone got plenty of track time.
I am looking forward to next year.
