Fast and Solid car, originally Duncan Dayton's USFF2000 pro car
This has been a very reliable car for the 2 years I have owned it. 2 DNF's - first was due to broken cam at Beaver Run in June 06, other due to loose brake pedal to master cylinder pushrod. Car has only been run for 3 race weekends and two practice days in 2007 after winter rebuild.
Replaced (new) during 2007 Winter rebuild:
Most nuts/bolts replaced w/ new AN hardware, Masters, clutch throw out bearing, push-pull throttle cable (Averill), Fire Bottle Cable (SPA), Odyssey PC680 Battery, K&N air filter, all calipers rebuilt, all new wiring, bellcrank bearings, all hoses (including fuel lines) replaced with Gates Green Stripe. New Nose box (original VD), new tail section.
Engine rebuilt July 2006 (Elite), new sleeves, new cam, new Mahle Pistons, it has the good crank. Crane electronic ignition. Has just under 800 miles since rebuild. Still very strong, go another 1000 miles easily on this motor...
Penske triples (Stimola). Upgraded to 99 aerotube pushrods (all new sphericals/rod ends during winter rebuild 2007)
