I just saw this poted on the FPR site. I know Tony Willams, LW and Chas put allot of effort into putting this together. Thanks for thier efforts, it's a good opurtunity to meet new racers and race in a larger field.

June 28, 29 SCCA Weekend: We will be racing at Summit (Main track). It will be one race with a Saturday Practice/Qualifying and a Sunday race.

Chas Schafer will arrange paddock space for us. All FPR members need to have SCCA Membership/ License and Log Book. Chas can help with that.

All interested should contact FPR right away to get things moving.
Anyone who does not already have SCCA License/Membership will get a $40 credit from FPR off the FPR membership to be used for SCCA License (This season only). You must commit to the June race at Summit to get the credit.

It is important to reply to the email poll about what tracks FPR should run this season. With a limited schedule EMRA provides FPR must look elsewhere to fill in the schedule. Please let me know what races you plan on attending. We need cars on track if we are to get any good track dates.

We are working hard to secure a full schedule for 2008. The Pocono East date in August is back on and the VRG Watkins Glen date is being negotiated. I am also looking at dates with PDA and NASA. Standby for the full schedule in the next few weeks.
Remember, only by everyones participation in FPR events do we get to secure more dates in the future. If you don't come out and support FPR there may not be a future.

I believe the schedule ,may be bolstered with outside events. I know LW was working hard on seeing if someting can be worked out with WG... I don't know how he made out.

BTW -- Congrats on your Championship...

The 2008 EMRA schedules have been posted. Note that in the sprint race schedule, there is no Pocono East course race for open wheel cars and that the Saturday and Sunday Watkins Glen races (with VRG)are for closed wheel only. There is a race, however, at the Thunderbolt Raceway being built in South Jersey.
