Now there is something I can agree with. EMRA DOES need to improve its events to see a rise in participation.
Much of what I had hoped for, was to satisfy the desires of the majority of drivers within the club.
Become a significant # of those drivers, and lobby the new admisistration.
As to my use of pathetic to refer to the participation of Open wheel and more specifically FPR within EMRA. Hard to describe it otherwise with an average of 7 open wheel cars per event with only about 1/2 of them FPR members. If you are voting with your feet with regards to EMRA events, I understand, but if you want a bigger voice you must first show up with enough cars to make some noise.

"I disagreed with sharing the East course event but the NJMP event was a good business decision and the VS2000 guys could be a solution for the PATHETIC open wheel fields that clog up our days and bleed our treasury"
- you actually used PATHETIC twice in the same post.. I would call that bashing.
Put on good events at tracks that people actually want to race, and cars will show up. Just look at past events at Summit Point and Watkins Glen (even Pocono gets a few entries). Why do you think the open wheel group at MARRS 1 (SCCA) has 28 entries so far? This is all my personal opinion and my opinion only...

It is hard to bash a group that hardly show up.
As always everyone who shows up at an EMRA event is welcome, unfortuntaely Formula cars have been quite absent of late.
Bring cars and bring friends and all will be well with the world.
As Tony suggests, visit the forum he lists. all are welcome there as well

In case you didnt see it already, the EMRA forum has been closed. There is a new forum http://www.sssc-bds.org/ where you can read more rantings and ravings in an "uncensored" fashion. I would encourage you to take a look and comment on the some of the threads that are bashing the open wheel group, mostly being lead by Charlie Greenhaus and someone by the name of Dana that drives a Fiero...
