Nial,
I messed up, it was Roy Weber's house that was near the park, had a duh moment.
Now, I was in Jersey about a year and half ago, and if you go down some of the side roads in Cassville, they have some half million dollar homes back there, I was shocked. Cassville for the most part has not changed much, except for those homes, they are nice. That bank on 528 I think is still there, that is where I had my first passbook account, remember it by the old post office? That was in the 60's, but the strange part, the interest rates were so much better back then... I remember back in the day where cd's were paying 12 should have froze the rate back then. Anyway, I know Whities and Burkies are there yet.
Your mom sure has been in Sherry Park homes for ever, remember you can buy a home back then for 12 grand, who would have thought.
Regards,
Oscar

Hi folks:
For what it's worth, I drove past Maria's house today (four times, in fact!). I was down visiting my parents. Amazingly, that area still looks pretty much the same.
Oscar: I'm not sure "Charley Weber's house" is near the park, but you're close: the houses in that area belonged to the Childs and Edgars (Charley's cousins).
Anyway, best wishes to all for a great 2005 (and let's hope for peace and no more natural disasters).

NO, it's not only your puppy I remember you by, actually you sat on the school bus in front of me. Lets see if I remember, you had jet black short hair, parted in the side, I think you were an only child, big brown eyes, olive skin, you had a nice home, upstairs downstairs, chain link fence all around it was 6' tall. Charlie Russel was our school bus driver, and then we had a women bus driver her name was Jo something, to the right of your home were poultry houses, your dad wore a hat, like a taxi cab driver's hat, well as Mayor Kotch use to say, '' how am I doing''?. My e-mail address is Oscaro@tampabay.rr.com say hi and I will have your address and I can send you some old pictures of back then and maybe you will really remember. By the way, there was this little park with swings almost across the street from your house more towards Charlie Weber's house.
Thanks for the 50 years more, but I don't know if I want so many.
Hugs back at you.

O.K. I got the wrong info, so a Happy Belated Birthday is in order. It was nice hearing from you anyway and I still wish you 50 more Happy Birthdays. Yeah, I like to think about the good old days too. It seems that I´ve been remembered mostly because of my German Shepards, but it´s still nice to be remembered. Ever since I´ve hooked up to Classmates and this wonderful site that Nial set up for us, I´ve been going back in my mind and I remember your sister and you. And you´re right, it does make me feel like I´m still in Jackson. I´m glad to have gotten you started. This page has been too quiet lately. Whenever you have time and want to chat away, go for it. I come in almost everyday to see if anyone is around and I sure my e-mail address is posted, so feel free. Give my regards to the family and I wish you all and everyone from Jackson the best, Health,Love, Peace and Money through 2005 and always. Big Kiss, Maria

Wow Maria,
thank you so much for the birthday wish, however, your not even close you silly girl. My birthday Is 10/13/51 there now you all know, BUT, I actually feel two weeks younger than that, ha ha. No, feel great, good health has been on my side, have lots to be thankful for, and good friends like the one's on this site make me feel like we are all still in Jackson only a drive away, in our case, still in Cassville.
I remember you and my sister Margie were good friends, I remember your dad, and I remember my dad and me purchasing your products and espeacally your big dog, gosh being young like you at the time, your dog was the size of a bear.
My regards and best wishes to all the good people I had the pleasure of growing up with, they are all part of my childhood great memories.
For those of you who have made resolutions, hope keeping them becomes lots of fun, and that you get to keep them all. One of mine will be to snak once a night instead of two, which i'm doing great, I only have one, is the good news, the bad news is they are twice as much.
Love, health, happiness, and money to all in 2005. Maria, you should have not even mentioned me, now you got me started, and I just yak away, Nial knows, once you get me started, seems like I just go on, to be continued.
Always,
Oscar. P.S go Jets
