Jackson High School, NJ-Class of '68

All other "Early Year" Jackson Students Are Welcome Too

To all our friends from "nearby" years at Jackson High

Please join us here for good memories and conversation!

Thanks to all who attended our 35 Year Class of '68 Reunion. Let's see if we can arrange another one for the future (maybe "shared" with some other classes?). If this is your first time visiting this message board, please let us know that you are "out there". All you have to do is go to the bottom of this page and click the "Post Message" link. Then just type a brief message (like "hi all!"). This will let us know that you are "in touch" with us.

NOTE: No "bashing"! "Friendly Talk" only! Also: due to high useage, this message board may be "slow" on occasion....this is due to "limited bandwidth" and is "normal"

Here's more info for those of you who may have questions about the new features on this message board

And remember, if you just wish to post a note, there are no changes.....just type a message in the normal manner.

For those who are interested,CLICK HERE to see a page that explains how HTML works. This is a nice tutorial with examples.

If you have a webpage or online photo album and you are not sure how to create the weblink to make it "clickable", send me the address of the webpage and I'll post it here. If you post a message and wish to delete it (due to mistakes, or whatever), send me a note and I'll delete it.

If you have digital pictures that you would like to share, they must be "hosted" at a website (we can't do that here). A popular, free site for hosting pictures is "Photobucket" (a lot of folks on e-Bay use it). To go to the Photobucket site please CLICK HERE,. Some of you may have also noticed that Wal-Mart will place your pictures online. You can share those pictures here as well, using the same info from the HTML tutorial page above

One thing that would be neat would be any old (pre-1970) Jackson High photos that you may have scanned. If you have any real good ones that you'd like posted, send them to me (in "jpg" form and under 100,000 bytes if possible) . I'm only looking for a few pictures....I have a few of my own that I may post at some point too.

I've added some new features to this message board

You will not have to do anything different to type a normal message here, but if you wish, you may add pictures and weblinks to your messages

To add pictures or links, you'll have to write your message in "HTML format". Remember, you won't have to do anything new for normal messages....only if you wish to add a picture or weblink.

Here's some examples

Click
HERE for some great pictures of Jackson, NJ
and Jackson High School. Note: These pictures were not created by me and I do not know the person who took them...but I thought they were pretty good.

Here's one recent picture of Jackson High

For those of you wishing to post pictures or weblinks, please feel free to do so. This also means a hacker could sneak in and post inappropriate pictures, so I'll keep an eye on things. If you spot anything that looks inappropriate, e-mail me.

If you have questions about "HTML format", there are a number of free training tutorials on the internet. A good, free image-hosting service is "Photobucket".
