Hi Bill, I was talking to mom the other dad and was telling her about this site, and that your name popped up. You must have really straighted up your act, because my first reaction was that you were still alive (ha ha) and second that you were NOT in jail. She said she had a visit from Midge a while back. How is mom and dad doing?

Yeah Kevin, I remember you. Ever get over Joyce? Remember the day someone 'PERSUADED' you to stand up to me? One of your friends asked me to let you slide. I could have made you cry that day. Nothing has changed.

I raised a son who learned math using baseball stats. He was born a few days before the World Series in 75 and sat on his dad's lap "watching the series" the day he came home from the hospital.. He played Soccer, Little League, and Wrestled in HS. And now he coaches his nephew in those sports too!.. Am I a proud MOM or what?

Hey Bill,
very good on the trivia, if you could remember the Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, then there is no point in asking you anymore, that was the hardest one I could come up with.
Hey, I just wrote to the Mole, two days ago, he never mentioned the spider, do you know if the spider lived, hey, must be ok, have to write to him later. Before that, he told me he went out to eat at a all you can eat buffet, and got food poisoning, in fact he sent me some pitures via internet, that I thought were very interesting, he hasn't changed much since the 60's still looks like the mole from ole, lots of good memories with the mole, lots of fun, maybe some time in the future I will take a trip to to Jersey and stop in Virginia and see him.
The summer of 69 was probably the best summer I have ever had at least the most memorable, so what 3 major historical events occured that summer, 3 things that went down in history, and people still talk about it today.

Hi Bill, Nial set up this site at my request mainly for the class of 68 reunion but all of our Jackson Alumni are welcome here. We are really happy at the way this site has taken off. It is a good way for us to keep in touch and it is free. You really don't have to set up another site if you don't want to. We want to keep in touch with everyone.

Oscar, You still owe me $2.00!
Anyway, Jackie Bollentine had a '68' 442. The rest of us had 65's. The red one was owned by Bonds. Brian O'Neill had the silver '69' Camaro with the black top. I had one too, 396, without the vinyl.
BTW,NEWS BULLETIN!! Bob"the Mole"Clickner was bitten by a very poisonious "Brown Recluse" spider last week. The good news is, he survived. The bad news is, he still remembers all of us.
P.S. Nial. Are you the one responsible for this site? If so, good on you! I want to set up an "All Jackson, the 60's" site. I hope you don't mind my interloping on this site. I still have some good Jackson friends! I don't think I know you, but you seem like a "Deck" (cool) person.

Ok, here is a really hard one, for all, in the late 60's '' Fire'' one hit wonderer, that is a hard one, but without going on the net, I know you can find anwsers there, here is a real challenge.
Allison Steele, she was one of the best, I think Vinny Scelsa, was W.P.L.J though, a Philly station. Wolf Man Jack in know passed away about seven years ago. Remember Cousin Bruce Morrow, I don't know if you mentioned him, have to go back. I wonder if W.O.B.M is still in Toms River, or W.J.R.Z, they were ok regional stations. Keep them coming, I remember everything, even those people I borrowed money for gas in the late 60's, so if you guys are out there, I'm ready to pay all of you back.
Oscar.

Oscar:

"Nightbird" was Alison Steele...she was on with a lot of other neat WNEW DJs including Rosko, Zacherly, and Vince Scelsa (sp?). Scelsa is still around....I heard him the other day. Steele died in mid-ninties, from cancer. Other memorable DJs include Dan Ingram (ownes a radio station near me), Scott Munie and (theoretically, at least) Wolfman Jack. Amazing that I can remember this stuff, since the MG didn't even have a radio (and living in a house with 9 people, I rarely got to listen to *my* stations).
Although I was, (and still am) much more interested in sports cars, I remember quite a few of the cars you mentioned above.

Bob Unsworth is correct remember, he couldn't pass inspection because the hood scoop was too big, and that was from factory. Wayne Laddic, he was awesome, I wish I had his glasses now.
Glen Hendrickson had the black 442, but the red one was it Denny Piserelli? Brian O'neil had the 69 cam. Who had the Super Bee, was it Calindorski, 426 hemi. I know this kid Mousie Wientrap had the 396 Nova, but he was from Lakewood, that was fat. I don't know about the red 442 could have been Sandor Seymour also. Maybe it was Bob Unsworth's other half, I forget which one was Nick and which one was Del.
More trivia to come, we need a Jackson trivia board or a trivia section, that would really stir up the mind blockage.
Stay tuned. Ok, who was the night bird, in 69, on wnew, the night owl, what was her name, you know there were many a nights she put us to sleep.

Hey,
your cells are all producing, Rudy Cortino's Vette, had almost 500 hp, would pin you to the seat for the duration of the journey. Ok, here is one you may not remember, who had the red white and blue Rambler Scrambler, very limited edition, and who had the the Black 442 in the summer of 69, and one more and if you get this one, you take (mind viagra) who had the silver 69 Camaro with the black vinyl top, use to go out with Dorcus.
Face is still doing great, he and his wife Debbie own their own a hair salon in Down Town Lakewood. Barbara and Hector were married for a brief period of time, but she married George Newshaffer, a Jackson cop, you may know him, ( just messing) and they have a winter home in Florida, but still base themselves out of Jackson.
Good talking, and stay tuned.
Oscar.

Margie is doing great, thanks for asking, will tell her you mentioned her. Trivia, who had the Vette that said '' Catch Me If You Can on the back, and the one that said '' Lady Will Power?
Hey, have a good one, nap time.
Oscar.
