Ok Nial,
How about this, can you go into my bank account ( I will give you the number) and you can put in a few thou, and erase all them bills, we can hack the system.
A few years back, this young guy from Miami went into the system and gave us all free H.B.O and Cinamax for the week end.
I will take a Yale grad, most of the doctors in Florida look like their diploma was made on their PC anyway.
Have a great day.

Oscar: I think I figured out what happened. Someone else was looking up the Milby school while using your account. I did sort of the same thing....I went into my college "classmates" site (Trenton State)and accidentally made you a '72 graduate! (I guess it used your name, since it thought I was "Oscar"). I deleted it right away.
I scanned through some of the "Milby" grads....most live in Texas....Milby is probably a Texas school.
If you like, I can go back into "classmates" and make you a Harvard grad! (Yale and Princton too, if you like....lol)

Question: Is there any one out there that has heard of a school in Jackson called 'Milby'? I keep seeing it on classmates, and when I click on it, it has graduates as far back as the early to mid 50's, which by the way makes me feel good, but I am curious.

Good morning Ellen,
you didn't sleep late either, I thought every one slept late on Sunday's, maybe it was just me all along. The Tibbetts boys were Danny, Eddie, Pat, and the youngest boy was Mike, and they had one sister, she was the youngest. They lived on Citadel dr. in Brookwood two.
Danny, the oldest was married to my sister margie for about five years, which by today's standards, it's a long time. Ok, go back to bed, it's early.
Can you believe this message post is on the third page, Nial and I and a few others did the same thing on Classmates, there are almost 100 messages on there.

She has 3 grandkids and one due Aug. Danny Schastny (her X) got remarried. She didn't. Good for her. Take care and have a good week. Don't WORK to hard (ha ha).

I know they are established. That is the beauty they go up a little stay at that level. Sometimes drop a little. If you can by at a reasonable price I have seen walmat go to over 60.00. I am sure a lot of us have had our ups and downs. I know I have but Now I am very happy and would not change anything in my life not even the bad times.

Hi Alice,
thanks for the stock tips, but those corp. are so established now, you need to get one that is just developing. I had a tip a few years back, on The Cheese Cake Factories, small franchise restuarant, and I let it slide, well, it rocketed, did very well, and the one I selected went in the opposite direction.
Well, no life has not been all that great, I had more curves thrown my way then Bowman rd, in Jackson, in fact if it wasn't for this web-site Nial set up, I would have never had a free-bee, however, I'm healthy, happy, and comfortble, can't and refuse to complain, doing really good, but not as good as I would like, then again, who is? Now the lottery in Florida is up to 75 million, for those who live in Florida, I know your tickets are white knuckled some where, but if I hit, I will treat all the people on this website to something really nice, no collection of faberge eggs but something nice. Ok, going to Classmates to see who I can nag and help them make the transition to this website, in the mean time, have a great weekend.

Ellen,
you know I think your correct, now that I think of it, Jerry may have graduated in 67. Some one told me a few years back that he may still live in Jackson, I will catch up with him sooner or later.
How are things in South Carolina, I have a friend that lives in Anderson S.C do you know where that is.
If you talk to Caroline, tell her I said hi.

AS for the Alice thing. No my husband Jon never screams that name like Ralph, His personallity is opposite. Besides he calls me by my middle name Lorraine. I have always hated the name Alice that is one of the reasons. But when they register you for school they insist on you going by your first. All my life at home I was called Lorraine. Makes a body feel like a split personallity.. Can make you very crazy answering to more than one name. But then we all ans to more than one name as we go through life Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa. Got to get ready for work have to be in at 1130, talk later.

Hi Oscar, was on classmates 10 minutes after you yesterday, or was it an hour, (senior moment). I check out this site first then go to classmates. Sometimes I do it after I get home from work in the evening if I had to go in early am for ot. Check out WalMart, Hilton, and Verizon. They are fairly steady and when ever walmart hit 100 or close to it they split. I used to work for them and still have a share or two. Sounds like you have done ok for yourself. Alice

I thought Jerry Finitty was a 68 grad, perhaps I was wrong, imagine that? Well I semi retired and thought I would do day trading, but in the last two years, I have taking a major bath with the stock market, though i'm still ahead, I have been battered by the market, so if you have any good tips on good up-coming stocks, I will split the gains with you. I will probably have to go back to work if the market does not do a 3-60. All good tips would be considered.
I didn't see you on Classmates this morning, glad your ok though, lol.
Tell me the truth Alice, does your hubby ever yell Aaaliiiiiice bang zoom!!! does he sound like Ralph Kramden, all you guys going to the reunion should get on the mic, and yell it, just once.

One question Alice, and I won't bug you anymore, in your quest to find all these wonderful alumni's did you happen to come across Jerry Finitti? I was curious of what ever happen to him. And you make me laugh, every time I try to beat you to Classmates most recently visited, you are there first, we love to snoop around Classmates, see whats going on, I think that is so funny, please you guys, don't think for a minute I have nothing to do, I have plenty to do, I just don't get around to doing it. Ok, you have a nice day, and enjoy that California sun.

Oscan, If Elise was 2 yrs behind you and you were in the class of 70 that would have put her in the class of 72. Because the class of 68 is in front of you.

Nial, Thank you for this web site. We can keep in touch so that there is a lot less "gruntwork" for the 40th. That is not so far down the road. And as I have said many times before I have really enjoyed doing this. Not only did it give me something to do after I had my both hips replaced 2 1/2 yrs ago. I would get a real kick out of the response of the people we had not heard from in 35 yrs. Like Evelyn Paggnotti, Linda Ayala. I email Linda every few weeks. Unfortunately she does not think she can make this reunion due to changes in her work schedule. She was supposed to be in DC the week of the reunion and we were going to get together. But the US gov changed her schedule and is sending her to Portugal and to DC the first week of Sept. Any one who has the chance to be in DC and would like to have coffee with her just email her by clicking on her name. She would love to hear from all of us.

Almost ruptured a blood vessel... Does anyone out there keep in touch with any of the teachers from the 66 to 70 era. We would love to have them at our reunion, I read on classmates Mr Morra was at a recent reunion would love to contact him. Please send me info if any of you have it. Oscar thanks for talking to Suzie. She has emailed me and I mailed her letter out yesterday. I cannot wait for Nov.

. . . then there was no Mr. Geiger? I switched schools so many times during K-12 (I believe I went to about twelve different ones altogether) that I remember very, very few teachers' names. At Jackson the only faculty names I can recall without seeing them in these posts first are Elizabeth Greeley (Latin?) and Geiger. The name Hutchinson does sound right, so I guess I'll never know who Geiger was if everyone else is in agreement that there was no such person in Jackson.

Nial,
a for sure on the brewski, probably next year, around the same time. By the way, I was in Cassville, and by Sherry Park homes, that part has not changed much, Fanny's Market is still there, not sure if it's open, but it looked clean. Now. on 528 in Cassville by the bank, you have houses that must reach half a mill, I was locked jawed. The high school looks good, of course they add the second floor which was not there, and the police dept complex has changed, it's on the same rd as the high school now, very high tech, Jackson is not the square town it once was, Jackson can be compared to Toms River's upper scale.
Some thing about Jackson still had that gravitational pull on me, but you need to be a Philly Attorney to go back from Scratch, and we all move on, just nice memories will always make you go back in the time machine.
Always,
Oscar.
Helena: I should have known Paul Cupo had something to do with the song, he loved his music, I don't even think he is listed on Classmates, would love to send him a high note, but, don't think he is there. Thank you for the hard ones, think of some more.
Have a great weekend,
Oscar.

Interesting... I was under the impression that Thomas Hutchinson established the instrumental music program in the Jackson schools.

So, you give up on the Fight Song?

The music was adapted from the old song "Row, Row, Row" and the words were written by Paul Cupo and Patti Anderson, both members of the Class of '70. Paul played trombone and Patti played clarinet and served as Drum Majorette.

Paul later returned to Jackson High as Assistant Band Director, succeeding Calvin Chase (Class of '66). I believe he's now teaching music in the Toms River school system. He and Hutch left Jackson for Toms River in the mid to late 80s (I'll have to ask my sister if she can remember the year.)

I have no idea what happened to Patti after she graduated from Jackson.

Pretty cool....we've actually got a "two-page" discussion going...

Oscar: Next time you plan a visit to the #1 state, send me an email first....maybe we can have a brewski (or at least a Wa-Wa coffee)....and thanks for promoting our reunion with Sue (we should hire you as the "Class of '68 Marketing Director"...no pay, but lots of glory!).
Dave: I remember the two bands (pep and marching) but I don't recall "Geiger"...I thought it was Hutchinson (perhaps my memory was affected by our drummer's second-hand smoke).
Alice: continued thanks to you for doing the real "grunt work" on this reunion.
Helen: OK...who wrote it?

Nial,
I think there were two bands. The marching/symphonic band, directed by Mr. Geiger and in which I enjoyed the hell out of playing treble-clef baritone in, was one. The other was the "pep" band, which was more loosely organized and consisted of whoever showed up at the games to help cheer on the team. It is probably the pep band that played the fight song and I don't remember it either because you really couldn't play in the pep band unless you were good at playing by ear, which I definitely was not.
-- WAG
(Then again, there may not have even been a pep band . . . in addition to "senior moments," I spent a lot of time with the crowd that DID inhale, so sometimes the "voices" are just making things up.)
