Hey Nial, Good luck on selling your folks home. It only took us about 6 months last year to sell our condo in Brick. We had to come down on the listing price and even after the closing it cost us close to a grand for repairs. But Brick is pretty tuff on that stuff. How's things out in Sherry Park? Last time we were up in Jersey we didn't get a chance to get out that way. Pat & I will be up in July for a quick visit to see our folks. And we plan on driving by the old haunts to get some pics. Those old homes are like bungalows compared to new ones we saw going up a couple years ago. P.S. Don't sweat the colonoscopy, it's just another part of getting older. We'll catch ya all later.

Hi All!
I agree...it hardly seems like 40 years!
I still have a young niece in the Jackson school system and I would bet that she'll eventually graduate from Jackson High, so the tradition will probably keep going (in our family).
We are in the middle of selling my parent's house (near Charley's old house off Stump Tavern Rd.) I spent last Summer and Fall painting it, fixing windows, new roof, etc. They are in a retirement place in Manchester now (and very happy). Their health is not great, but I know we're lucky to have them.
I've been trying to sell their house for the last 6 months and we are very close right now...but you all know how tough home sales are right now, so we are crossing our fingers.
I am watching my new grand-daughter one day a week while her Mom (my older daughter) teaches a Summer class. Linda and I are really enjoying watching Reese, but John K. is right.....she's only 4 months old right now, but she'll be in school before we know it!

Linda and I spent a week in Disney Fla in January...that was "practice" so we'll know what to do when we bring Reese there in the future.

Hope all is well with all of you. I have the usual aches and pains and I will be going for a colonoscopy soon (ugh!). Just had a weird mole cut off (wear your sunscreen!). But otherwise, all is well here.
It's 95 degrees (F) today and muggy with lots of haze. I'm still playing with my little British cars as usual. We're going to Pittsburgh (vintage car race) soon and we'll be going down to Rehoboth Beach (Del) in August for a week.
Best wishes to all!

Wow, we're too young to have graduated 40 years ago!! Just last year we went to our nephew's FSU graduation!! Really makes you think about how fast time goes by. Cherish the memories, let the good times roll, and enjoy the time you have!! Wishing everyone a great summer. Take care and keep in touch.

YUP, 40 years. Time does fly, doesn´t it, John? But if we look around us, if we look at our children and grandchildren, we can actually see where the time has gone. I´m happy that I´m still around to chat with you and many more from our school days. I hope that we will still be around to write "Gee, we graduated 60 years ago, where has the time gone." Stay healthy and happy. Big Kiss
