I am doing great. I honestly do not remember your sister. I worked there from June 68 to the end of Aug in 68. I am looking forward to the charity walk I am doing in Sept. for the Diabetes Assoc. Ed has diabetes for almost 22 yrs now and is not doing well at all. Drs do not expect him to survive for more than another 1 or 2 the most. Between Congestive heart failure and the uncontrolled sugar. The virus is shutting me down. Talk to you later.

Alice,
How are you? My sister worked for Air Cruiser's in the 60's her name was Ada Olmeda, but of course married since then. She had to leave the job, because the glue smell would give her headaches.
I was a machinist in the building up the street on the airport property.

Hi Oscar, You are right the correct name is Air Cruisers. I only worked there for 3 months before I left for nursing school in NY. What is you sister's name?

Summer '68: Drove a plumbing truck around Pt. Pleasant for Double A Plumbing, as an "apprentice plumber" ($1.75 per hr.)....not a real glamourous job; mostly working in creepy crawl spaces and unclogging toilets (ugh!).
I had already picked up a few Summer credits at Trenton State College....I was moved in to off-campus housing at TSC by late August (tuition was $150 per semester.....I had to borrow the money from my Aunt). My off-campus room rent was $12 per week and I made about $20 per week working in a restaurant in Trenton...not bad, really. My cousin, Steve, kept writing me letters from Viet Nam....advising me to stay in school....I did, and it was probably pretty good advise.

Great Memories, I worked the summer at Garrett Corp in Howell I think. Assembled MASH units for the war. Was getting ready to go off to Nursing School in the Fall.

Well, by this time thirty-five years ago, we were all done with school. I was at the United States Naval Training Center in Great Lakes, Illinois, halfway through boot camp, set to graduate in mid-September. Where were you?
