If this is your first time visiting this message board, please let us know that you are "out there". All you have to do is go to the bottom of this page and click the "Post Message" link. Then just type a brief message (like "hi all!"). This will let us know that you are "in touch" with us.

NOTE: No "bashing"! "Friendly Talk" only! Also: due to high useage, this message board may be "slow" on occasion....this is due to "limited bandwidth" and is "normal"

Hi Diane. I am very proud of myself. I raised $250. I use the walker for long distances otherwise I just use a cane or a shopping cart in the stores. I had both hips replaced 2 1/2 yrs ago. I am doing well. 5 months after the surgery I climbed to within 150 ft of the top of Vernal Falls in Yosemite NP. I went until the walker could not fit on the stairs anymore. Talk
to you soon. Alice

Glad you finished. 10K-that is pretty impressive, especially on a walker.

Again Diane Thank you for your donation. I completed the walk yesterday. I did 10k instead of 5k on a walker. They did not have the 5k turnaround marked clearly. I had a great time.
