Walt:

I remember that up here in northwest NJ we had about 8" of snow around April 19th. My younger daughter was a new-born at the time, so it must have been '77.

There were people ice fishing on Cranberry Lake *yesterday*! (Feb 11) It's been well above freezing here for a few days. Crazy!

You're right about "blink-blink". One minute I was 30 years old...the next minute I'm 58. Where'd the time go?

Excellent, Wayne! Thanks for passing the address along.

It's 50-ish here in nw NJ today. Not bad. Spring seems nearer and nearer.
But last week we were out ice-fishing in the middle of our lake, so I bet Winter ain't over yet!

Checking in from the class of 1972 ,sending this email 20 miles
from the Canadian border. It is -28 degrees and looking forward
to the sprig thaw . Will pass web sight along to all that I am
in contact with. This is a great idea!

And don't feel bad if you forget names of people.....my kids tell me I forget *everything*! ;)

Anyway, be sure to give the address of this website to all those others you mentioned.
Thanks!

Boy, all of you on this site have a great memory! I graduated from Jackson High in 1970. I live in Brandon, FL (outside Tampa). Three great kids, Adam, Casey & Jill-Anne. I also have FIVE grandchildren. Moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1979. Moved to Tampa area in 1984 and here I am! Wish I could find my yearbook to look up some of these people cuz many of the names are familiar and I am sure I know many but memory fails me. I am still very good friends with Barbara Shayne Beck who also lives in FL about 1.5 hrs. away from me. I spoke to Frank Costa about a month ago. My ex Rich Mershon lives about 20 mins. south of me. He used to live in CA. Talk to Michael Miick a few times a year. I remember Oscar and Alice whom I knew as Lorraine. She lived around the corner from me in Brookwood IV. Love to all of you. Feel free to get in touch. God bless!

All:

This site has been online since 2003.

If you look back, you'll see that a lot of folks have visited it.
That's great, but I'm concerned that anyone NOT from '68 will think they aren't welcome (which they are).

We welcome *all* early-year Jackson High students.

So, to make sure eveyone feels welcome, I've changed the banner at the top of the page to read a bit different.

PLEASE: Get the word out about this site so that other "early-year" Jackson High students will know about it. They don't have to be from the Class of 1968. The more, the merrier!

And don't forget to tell them this place is FREE. We're not "Classmates".....we don't charge! This is all just for fun.

Our website address here is:

http://www.pliner.net/appmb/2f86f5/

Write that down carefully and send it to any old friends you know who went to Jackson High.

I'm hoping that if we get enough people here, maybe we'll have enough folks to set up a "shared" re-union with other early-year classes in the future.

Thanks!
NMc
