Last weekend was great. Saturday was a nice sunny day for wearing shorts and working outside in the yard...I even drove the car with the top down.
Today, we got almost a foot of snow (with more on the way!).
Oh well....happy St Pat's day! (and *come on* Spring!)

Hi Nial, You can keep the ice and snow. However I dont mind the colder temps. Hormones or something...I do not ever want to drive or shovel the white stuff again. I love looking at it from our wonderful little Valley. But as you so profoundly put it to each his own. Stay warm,& dry I too will attempt to stay dry. Expecting about 2 inches of rain / hr later on today... Enjoy rebuilding the MG. Alice

It's about 6:30 AM here in northwest NJ, and as I look out onto our lake , there is about 25 guys ice-fishing on it already. I will never understand the attraction of ice-fishing, but to each, his own.
Ice is about 2 feet thick and will easily support a heavy snowmobile. It's been below freezing for most of the last month. Brrrrr!
Winter is a great excuse for reading good books and rebuilding the MG, so I don't really mind it that much.....and Spring is just around the corner!

Well, it is cold here in Atlanta as well. We have had nights in the teens and days in the 40's. It is supposed to warm up to the 50's as the week progresses. I wonder what is is like in upper Wisconsin where Kathy Craft lives? I know it is colder there than Vermont!

Happy New Year everyone.I guess no one is happy with what they have. I wish I could look out of the window and see snow fall.We are in January & I still haven´t used my winter coat. We´ve had rain (which I can´t stand) and damp weather and that is our winter here in Portugal(atleast where I live).Gordon, please tell Maryann I´d like to get in touch with her. I´m sure she remembers me.

Up here in Northern Vermont, it reached a high of 5 below zero today and is supposed to get down to 20-30 below tonight.Quite a bit different than good old Jackson.
