I served in E Company from October 1968 thru September 1969. I was the only Armament Repairman in the unit but for the first month or so I helped out replacing hot ends.
Did you know Tom Beckett?

I was in "E" Company 701st from 5/68 to 5/69. I've wrote Chuck Alleger a few times a couple years ago. Just wanting to see if anybody else is out there that remembers. I was a mechanic. Like to hear from you. While I'm here I would like to ask if anybody has a map of Phu Loi int 68-69. I'd like to see if I can locate where E Co, 701 was.
Thanks---Ken (Oly)

701st E Company 12/68 to 12/69. Heard about this site from Ron Everett. Chuck Alleger, I remember you well. Thanks for the pics. If I can get my photoshop to work I should be able to help you out with some of the names. I have a ton of pics (just need to find them!) Wondering about guys like Bill Bargi (Chicago), Bruce Heather (Washington), Barnett (somewhere down south...Georgia?). Capt Bittinger (later Colonel) was C.O. Forget the 1st Sgt.'s name. Anyway, will keep checking in.
