Does anyone have a nice copy of a MCLA logo (Blue & White or Black & White) that they can e-mail to me? I am having trouble trying to copy one from the national web-site. Thank you.

The MCL Scholarship Forms can be found on the Marine Corps League Foundation website at www.mclfoundation.org. The League may also have the forms listed on their site at www.mcleague.com.
The forms change slightly each year.

Please tell me how to find and download the MCL scholarship forms. I can't find them on either web site and a "search" does not locate them either. Thanks for the help.

You can find the U.S. Marine Corps Flag at various places like www.grunt.com you may even be lucky to find it on Ebay. The rest of your questions, I am trying to gather more information for you.

Just wanting information

My husband is a former Marine who served during the late 60's. 1) I know nothing about what, when or where appropriate decorum dictates what behavior. I know the Birthday is important, and wanted to find a Marine Corps flag to display (as a surprise), but only have the type of pole that you use for Christmas and Valentine's flags.
2) How do I find out whom to contact for a particular achievement that he completed, but didn't have whatever he's supposed to have. As you can see, I'm not from a military family.
3) How do you read a DD 214? I can't understand the abbreviations.

I know that Yankee candle does fundraisers and the profit if I remember right is 40-50% to your unit, also Tupperware also does fundraisers and they I know are 40%. Avon will also work with you.

When I use to decorate for the ball at our local Detachment, I did vases with red flowers and had gold balloons floating above tied to the vase.Everything was red & gold , you can even put tissue in the vases or color coordinate your napkins in your drinking glasses.

if you looking for websites, try www.grunt.com (they sell Marine Corps items) and you might find some gift ideas there for your officers, you may also want to check out the Marine Corps League's ship's store, just visit the Leagues website and click on the Ship's store.
You had mentioned that your local Jo-Ann's store is small, the store does not have to be a super store, but they can give you and your unit some creative ideas expecially for a low budget. You dont have to look at catalogs for ideas for center pieces, door prizes, you can look through regular magazines and get ideas from them and adapt them to suit your needs.
You can also hold fund raisers to get the additional funding to purchase items that your Unit needs.

I am wanting ideas that someone used and were well received. Our samll town lacks Hobby, Craft Stores, we do have a Jo-Ann but not the Super one. Our Unit is small and not very wealthy yet so I'm asking you Long Time Members for ideas that worked. If there are any. Perhaps names of Catalogs that offer Marine Corps Items. Thank You. Grace, Love and Prayers. God Bless.

Visit your local creative center, like Hobby Lobby, Micheals, and so on, you can get some great ideas from them.
