Mid-Winter Conference: travel

I am president of the only MCLA unit in SC. I am also Assist. SE Div. Vice Pres. I really would like to attend my first MCLA National Mid-Winter Conference in Feb. I do not wish to make the trip to Falls Church, VA alone by car. I am looking for a way to join up with someone coming up from FL or over from TN. I could also join folks going by train or flying. Please e mail me with any suggestions.

Click on the "Forms" link on this Web site and then click on "Banner and Standard Specifications". This form will instruct you on the requirements for the Banner and also provide you with the name of a company that makes the Banners.

Our unit has been looking to purchase an auxiliary flag. I know that other units have them, but we've been unable to locate a source for them. Does anyone know where we can purchase a flag? We've tried the League's ship store and been told they have nothing to with auxiliary items. Anyone have any ideas???????

I have recently assumed the duties of Chairman of the Boy Scout Committee. Our local Troop has a number of Eagle Scouts recently have attained this status. Having just recieved word that Gold award are also to be bestoied the Good Citizen certificate, I got in touch with my local contact and found out two of our local girls had all ready recieved thiers ( late 2008 ) I felt it only proper that these ladies be recognized. A letter of congradulatios should accompany the Citizenship Award. The letter I recieved was from the Commendant oo Georgia Marine Corps League. Who do I contacy in Georgia. The two young ladies are brats of a Retired E-7 Corpsman and the other Retiered Army Special Forces and her brother a 1st Lt. United States Marine!!!!!
