I even tried to save it as page, but it didn't work. Next time I'll do periodic saves too. It was fun and I'm anxious to attend the next one.

It was amazing to see all the different characters everyone picked. Not one single person chose the same one. What amazed me, however, is how many of them held similar traits that defined their characters and the reason why readers are pulled to them.

Thanks, Lea. Sorry I missed the discussion. I, too, love the character Vanyel. What sticks in my mind with him was how he would project arrogance and strength and charm and flirtatiousness. Yet he never felt like the person he pretended to be and that bothered him.

Also, as I recall, his magical abilities had been repressed (I think by a spell) until a magical accident freed not just one talent, but all talents. So he was in essence tossed into a volcano during a hurricane without a lifejacket and a few well-meaning friends tossing lines that look more like electric eels to him.

Hi Karina. I will have the transcripts, or as much as I can because the workshop was over two hours longs, by this weekend.

I spaced it! I thought I'd put it on my calendar to remind me, but obviously not. Wah! Can someone send me the notes? Lea when is the next one? I'll set two calendars!

I like Friday nights. It's one night I really try to be at home.

Enjoyed the Workshop. BTW - I tried to save the whole thing in pieces. I need to go back and clean it up, but if you didn't get all the parts, I've got it, I think.

Took me at while to make my way to this form. Got side tracked with the E&P winnings.

For now, I was waiting to see the reactions with the first workshop and I think it was a success. Lots of good interaction and discussion so I may host more than once a month.

I'll keep everyone posted here with what's in store next time.

I guess the Friday nights are the best way to go?

Glad you enjoyed. Thw whole point behind this workshop was to pinpoint similar traits amongst our exercise characters and from what you and I saw tonight, there were many similarities. I'll be posting the transcript on the weekend and we can continue the conversation and discussions here.

I really enjoyed the exchange of characters and why each of us picked the ones we did.
