I am very interested in the ride inspection field. I spent six years as a stage hand in NYC and would now like to transition into this industry. I would appreciate any guidance that anyone can give me as to how to go about getting started. I saw on the NAARSO site info about tests and meetings. Should I start by attending the Atlantic City event and taking the level 1 test? Any thoughts at all would be great. Thank you.

I am a paralegal student and right now I am working on a project centering around a hypothetical amuesment park ride accident. In the scenario the ride's force caused a brain injury to the rider when the ride came to sudden jolty stop. As part of the project we are to interview an engineer in the field. Since I have little to no knowledge in the engineering field, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the scenario. I am not looking for anything specific, maybe just a general opinion on the hypothetical situation.
