Some folks take the waste directly to the land-fill, you'd have to call a land-fill near you and find out the specific cost and requirements. However, most experienced scooping companies utlize large dumpsters like you'd see in back of a fast food restaurant. Some companies rent their own dumpsters, if they have somewhere to put them, some partner with veterinarians or other pet related business's. I know one scooping company that keeps their dumpster on a large farm under the agreement that the scooper pays for the dumpster, and the farm operater is allowed to use it. Works out great for both. The farm guy has free use of a dumpster, saying around $100 monthly, the scooper has a dumpster for his business.
