LOL, I have a friend who was bragging about possibly getting a job paying $18 an hour. I did the math. If she works 8 hours in a day, BEFORE taxes, she'll make $144 for that day. Now, even allowing for expenses such as hostess credit, samples, packets, catalogs, order forms, etc., I'll make that with a $500 retail party in less than half the time! If I have a $100 party and make $40 (no hostess credit paid here!) and it takes me 3 hours, that's $13 an hour! (Most people consider this a really bad party, and yet you're still making more per hour than a big chunk of the population! Before I started with Passion Parties I made $10 an hour and was THRILLED because it was more than the $8 an hour I made at the previous job!) If I have a $300 party and make $90 after expenses and it takes me 3 hours, that's $30 an hour! If I have a $500 party and make $150 after expenses and it takes me 3 hours, that's $50 an hour! If I have a $700 party and make $210 after expenses and it takes me 3 hours, that's $70 an hour! If I have a $1,000 party and make $300 after expenses and it takes me 3 hours, that's $100 an hour!!!! This doesn't even mention bonuses when I go over $2,000 or more for the month OR the unlimited bonuses from growing my team! So how about you? Would you like to make $18 an hour?? I don't think so. LOL Fill those party books and go out and ENJOY the other 5 hours you just took back!
