Hi all,
sorry I don't know a lot of Finnish - I remember "olut" but that's about it. Congratulations to Carl for one of the most thoughtful and cool-headed silver commentaries on the internet - glad you're back. (By the way, 321gold.com and financialsense.com carry your editorials too.)
I was wondering about the open interest and what it tells us about the shorts in silver - maybe it is a bit of an over-simplification, but wouldn't it be fair to say that when the price goes up, and the open interest goes down, someone must be covering shorts!? I have observed the same thing that Carl has: from time to time this has happened in the last few months, so it looks like a few shorts are actually throwing in the towel. Also, according to Izzy Friedman (http://www.investmentrarities.com/11-02-04.html), we are now in the 2nd inning of the fight between longs and shorts. It shall be very interesting.
Good luck to all,
Jan
