Thanks for the reply. Tow hubs allow a car to be towed without causing damage to the transmission. They bolt on top the rear hubs and freewheel. These were a common choice for racecars in the 60's.

Not exactly sure what a tow hub is, but Etrailer.com is a really good place for quality trailer parts and supplies.

I am looking for a pair of tow hubs. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a new or used (inexpensive) pair?
