Thanks everyone for the effort to put this event on. Once track dried out and we got into a rytham, it was a blast and really helped us get the car sorted.

What an odd problem to occur--no wonder we couldn't pin it down what with spark and fuel seeming to be present---too much air--who'd a thunk it. I hope your refering to the manifold runners and not a cracked cylinder head. If you don't have someone, I can put you in touch with my friend Gert in Middle Island. He has used the services of a very good aluminum welder to cobble up some custom manifolds.
As far as the event at Monticello --- thanks for all the workers and those running the event for keeping a busy and difficult schedule going -- and kudos to those working the grid area.

Thanks all for a great time at Monticello. Met some great people. Was a good time having all the racers there too. Thanks to everyone that tried to get me up and going at the last minute. After blaming it on timing I found that a thin port match job I had done led all the intake runners to crack. Probably while I was griding and the car was cooling down. All worth it in good fu=n though. Thanks
