I've used the magnetic numbers. Just make sure that the front edge sticks tightly to the surface, and you won't even need to tape it. Or tape the front edge to make double-sure :-)

Dave, you could try using white shoe polish on the rear glass. Our intrepid time trial chairperson uses it for car classification, numbering and messages. :-) If your car is really, really, really, fast, I won't recommend using the magnetic #'s as they blow off.

I use magnetic numbers from IZoom.
I have the magnetic numbers and a set of vinyl numbers. The vinyl ones are great in the warm weather. In the cold they are hard to get on and off.
I use the magnetic ones most of the time and just put a little tape on them. I bought some black tape to match a little bit but forgot it at NJMP and and to use the blue tape.

Magnetics work as long as you tape down the leading edge of the number plate. Some places sell static cling numbers, which stick well and are easily removable. Lightly waxing the surface underneath helps with removal and reusability.

Have been taping my car number in window at the few events that I've attended. Magnetic ones strong enough? Vinyl graphics too expensive to put on and take off for each event attended? Want to get something nicer that is still removable.
Anyone associated with the club or know of someone who could do nice graphics like the ones on Ziggy's Vette?
Thanks
